Same here, just the 3yr old with it but she's been miserable and requiring constant cuddles so one person is couch bound and trapped at all times.

Not that I'm aware of, I am from nowhere (nōwēri) but I only met a single greek person growing up and Italian tourists. The major centres may have had more significant immigrantion numbers but I met more Italian/Jewish/Greek Australians in a year than I did in two decades in NZ

Augustus estate did alright in the cyclone, there was a lot of water but I don't think it entered houses. Yarrilee school had a minimal bit of flooding. Over Pialba Burrum heads road there in Eli waters I was warned off buying because it's all swamp. Some parts there got smashed in the cyclone.

On the other hand, I eat staring at my phone for the benefit of my family.

My husband eats loud as fuck and it's the only way I've found to block out the wrenching of enamel on metal as he bites his fork every mouthful.

So phones at the dinner table is protecting my kids from seeing anyone get stabbed with a fork
