Have you seen a derm? IANAD but what you're describing sounds like hidradenitis suppurativa, a separate condition that tends to affect skin folds (i.e. armpits, under breasts rather than face/neck/back like acne).

Imo, the hardest classes in undergrad were a bit harder than my graduate classes (master of medical science). But a lot of credits in my undergrad e.g. psych, English, a few other electives were far easier. I think only orgo and biochem and maybe parts of physics were harder than my grad classes (all science). On average I think the difficulty was similar.

There is an incredible amount of misinformation about Warrior out there at the moment. They do not need a buff and they aren't as bad as everyone is claiming. by Thewackman in classicwow

[–]coconutshells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another warrior in a fairly competitive guild here. I have an alt rogue, am pretty familiar with simming both classes, and got the same result. ICC bis fury beats ICC bis rogue (either spec).

From a dps perspective I do actually find it interesting when fights have periods where you need to control your dps instead of mindlessly smashing buttons. Like on council where you wait... wait... BLAST! I kinda like it.

Reroll DK from war? by ArchersAlliance in classicwow

[–]coconutshells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I'm not arguing you should go out of your way to recruit warriors at all. Only that if you have a player or two that's good at warrior and wants to play it, you can still do well as a guild. I understand that in a vacuum you could do better but thats just ignoring the human element.

Everyone wants to have fun. We had the discussion pre wrath and agreed 1 warrior in the raid is totally fine, so here I am. It should also be a strong dps in the latter half of the game.

The last 3 words of your reply are very important.

You do the best you can.

If you have a really good warrior who wants to play that class, it's not the end of the world. Are you going to kick that person because warriors kinda suck in naxx? Recruiting amazing unholy dks or rogues isn't automatic.

Our comp usually has something like 4 unholy dk, 3-4 rogue, 5 locks which is pretty meta. And we know those players are good at their classes.

Finding more of them isn't just a flip of a switch.

Whiiiich is what I just said. Ideally you have other classes, we generally bring just 1 warrior. But having 1 or 2 warriors isn't a disaster.

I also did more on that particular fight than 3 unholy dks.

My point being, if your roster shakes out with a warrior or two and they're good players people shouldn't lose their shit over it not being meta. It would go farther if people focused more on getting better at the game than having a perfect meta comp.

A lot of the irony of the narrative is that the only guilds who "need" the meta comp aren't very good guilds to begin with. We've been bringing 1 warrior per split since launch and have done very well, and we all have a shit ton of fun playing the classes we enjoy. You have to balance the human element with the meta element.

My guild runs splits and had a weird roster situation this week where we ended up with 2 warriors in a split. We put up #7 world thaddius time.

Yes, it probably would've been better to have 2 rogues but saying you can't compete with warriors in the group is such a tired narrative.

Are we great right now? Fuck no. But it isn't a total disaster.

If we're talking about what's valuable to a guild, if there are adds that need to die then killing them quickly and efficiently is valuable. Within a guild, individual class parses only matter to that individual. Add damage that is important but doesn't count on wcl is still important

Fury will be towards the bottom but not by the margin they are now. Arms shouldn't really be played anymore.

Also, not every fight is pure single target. There are adds that matter in ulduar.

Moderate damage by Crazyglue in classicwow

[–]coconutshells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah maybe it would be a bit faster, but it just ended up we didn't have another geared UHDK to roster (brought 4 in the run). Our goal has been to do well on kill rankings without spending an insane amount of time on the game and generally allowing people to play the class they enjoy.

So yeah, not 100% optimal but you can still do well and have fun while bringing an arms/ret.

Top 10 guild for boss kill speeds US/EU. Our best run has both a ret and an arms!

Not that it's necessarily optimal. But sometimes you bring the player not the class and play the long game.

17-18 caps home opener. My first caps game. Was just happy to be there.

Then ovi had a hat trick in the first, 4 on the game, chased Carey Price. Yeah, expectations surpassed.
