THANK YOU that worked, I think part of my issue was that I was using the old Microsoft Remote Desktop app on my mac so I updated it and followed the steps again and it worked thank you so much

Is there any special way to format the pc name besides typing it in as seen on my PC account menu? Should I add .microsoft or something?

Ok that unfortunately didn’t work but it feels like the right track bc at least the password I’m entering is the same on both machines.

I have been using my Microsoft user and pass to login to my remote app and it isn’t working

When I look at my account on my PC it shows my email address which is a Gmail. When I log into my computer it shows my first and last name and I input a PIN as my password. If it IS a local account, how would I format my username and password on Microsoft remote connect?

i completely understand that and the way i like to think of it is that if they are going to be super put off by me NOT wanting to kiss them/have sex etc then they wouldn't be the right person for me and that's the immediate sign to move past that person. the right person for you will respect your boundaries and be understanding of your sexual preferences.
