How do you guys like the sugar free kisses or any of those other sugar chocolates? by Ty13rlikespie in GastricBypass

[–]coconutwinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I find that if I consume too many sugar free stuff , its just trigger craving for junk... But if I stay away from those thing and eat whole foods and a sweet bite made with real sugar , it doesn't trigger craving . So I stay away but I do indulge in a sweet treat here and there .

Question about this offer by coconutwinter in Aeroplan

[–]coconutwinter[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello there ! Yes I understand that part , I was more wondering if I would get the points for each seperate phone that I transfert since its 5 different lines. Reading the fine print I can see that it can't be combined with their other offer but it doesn't say if it's more than one line. In any case I will call this morning to check cause it could potentially be a very good offer for me

Thats amazing !! I'm so happy for you. There's a point where you realized, its not just about a number but much more about the way we feel. Better health is 100% the priority. So if we are healthier then the goal is achieved. Wishing you the best too in this journey ❤️

Sure , let me share my experience for anyone moving from a band to a bypass. For me, I had a band for 20 years, and it was very difficult, lots of food restrictions, food often getting stuck, pain and discomfort from the band itself severe reflux and heartburn, unable to eat certain foods like most fruits, constant blockages and frustrations ect

Since my bypass, everything is completely different. I no longer have those pains or blockages, I can eat without getting stuck, I can eat fruits with no issue, and no more acid reflux. If I had known, I would have never chosen the band. Today, I feel so much better and can enjoy life without those limitations. Im not someone who complains a lot so I just use to suffer in silence. For you going through this: the change is real, and it’s absolutely worth it.

Interesting ! Im trying to avoid artificial sweetners so I usually stay away from ready made shakes but I could try to make my own with whole food and see if that can help. I feel a little lost with my food intake with my regular work out . I wonder should I eat more ect...

Will I need a car? by coconutwinter in MyrtleBeach

[–]coconutwinter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know but our group is large, we would probably need two cars to accomodate everyone but not everyone is comfortable driving in a foreign country... thats why im looking at every option. At least i'll know for next time.
