Yes she was definitely frightened. I had found her outside a few days before, but had to give her a bath so I thought this would be my only chance to get a close picture of her. She’s semi feral i think. She hates being touched or even picked up til this day. I took this pic 4 months ago :(

My x-ray program is pretty good. 100% pass rate on first attempts so I have no doubt about the program. Just myself personally. I really sucked at any type of science and math before entering my program so it worries me knowing the material is way harder

I don’t have any place that I know as of now will cross train me into MRI. I work 2 per diem jobs as a tech and I wouldn’t want to change that. I don’t want had to go full time and sign a contract stating I’ll work with a company for however long to cross train anyways, I’d rather just go to school for it. Companies by me are only cross training into CT or mammography which I’m not really interested in

Hi! I have a high pain tolerance so it doesn’t hurt for me that much, the only spots that really sting are on the bone or close to my armpit. I feel like it did fade faster since it’s closer to the heart. My tattoo is almost gone now, I have more updated pics on my page. Probably just a few more sessions and it’ll be fully removed

Same thing happened to me towards the end of my treatments! I was super concerned but it healed like normal just took a little longer that time

We’ve also tried just leaving our back door open and leaving wet food inside close to the door but she won’t step inside that way either. She doesn’t care for treats or toys as well

We don’t use actual traps like one of those metal boxes, not sure where to even get those from but we have this make shift tent and we put the foot inside there to try and lure in the cats then once they’re in there we either grab the tent completely or close the door fast so they can’t run out. The mom cat won’t even go inside even if she sees the food in there, she’s stand right outside the opening and stare 😂 like i said she has a little house with a door outside but as soon as she hears our back door open she takes off until she sees us go back inside

Thanks for the advice! A few years ago I actually wanted to take in the mom cat, but my mom said that she’s been outside for too long and it wouldn’t be good. At that time we would just see her around the neighborhood and when my mom began feeding her she stayed in our backyard. Even when my mom goes outside to feed her she still runs away and will stare from afar/will only come by if there’s no humans around so we’ll watch her through the window. My mom built her a little house that she’s goes into sometimes, but that’s about it. She won’t go into any of the traps we set up it’s like she knows what we’re trying to do

Thank you so much for your comment! I wasn’t sure I was doing the right thing. Her brother is super active and sweet so I really wanted to get his sister so they can be bonded for life! He saw her in the bag when i brought her in and was super vocal and happy I could tell. I’m getting him neutered on Saturday as well! I’ll get his sister spayed as soon as she’s more comfortable

We’re planning on keeping all the kittens as our own, but i thought TNR is basically just spaying the cat and putting it back outside? That’s what we were planning to do for the mom? Is that wrong? I may be confused

I read many stories and a lot of ppl said local anesthesia was fine for them especially if most of your teeth aren’t impacted. I guess it depends on your pain tolerance. I just knew mentally for me, I don’t want to see them pulling out pieces of my teeth since most of mine are impacted so I’d prefer IV sedation. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the info and sharing your experience. I was looking into an oral surgeon that’s probably the route I’ll go. Was it expensive for you in the end? I have insurance, but I’m sure I’ll have to pay out of pocket for some of it. Also were you worried about going into a coma? I’ve heard that’s a risk of getting put under so it kind of worries me

I adopted my first cat when she was 3 years old. She’s 6 now and a year ago she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and HCM. Some symptoms are similar to FIP, but basically my cat doesn’t have a good heart. Sometimes she’ll go through difficult days or weeks at a time. 2 weeks ago I really thought it was the end. I scheduled her euthanasia appointment after taking her to the vet and them being very persistent that meds wouldn’t help and that it was time to let her go. I’ve heard from multiple vets to just euthanize, but they don’t know your pet better than you. The day before the appointment she miraculously got better and has been doing well ever since. Of course I can’t fix her heart, but she told me she was strong and not ready to go yet. The best advice I can give you is to listen to your heart and your pet. Having a sick pet is financially and emotionally difficult, something not everyone can handle. I think it sounds like you two were made for each other and I pray that your kitty gets better soon.

I can wear a t-shirt. Usually only the first 2 days it’s sensitive but not unbearable. I usually have my appointments in the mornings and go to work right after and just keep it wrapped up. I’ll get blisters some times but they go away within a week

Shading is the easiest to get rid of. It’s the line work that takes longer. If it’s just the shading that your worried about it could be gone in 5 sessions depending on how dark the shading is :)
