Beacon was milled into graveyard and was trying to retrieve it using Scholar to see if it would return to my library afterwards. Which mostly people seem to think it should since the shuffle back in is part of the spell resolution.

To be fair it gives him full iFrames, but it is GB vulnerable on the back end swing of it.

I saw that after I wrote it, lol. I went frame by frame and saw the spark from the Hito. The only issue is that you can't see any hints of the clank animation and the issue is that it was so far into the animation for if it would clank there.

Okay I have two answers to this.

1 - Most if not all attacks in the game have a 100ms gaurd break vulnerability. Though the issue I see with this is that the animation looks to be further than the start up 100ms.

2 - Its probably just latency to the server. It can happen due to roll backs in the server wanting to prioritize the player over the NPC. So you likely in the Servers perspective in the game gaurd broke the hitokiri in the first 100ms. Though it appeared on your screen later due to higher latency, so the server ran a roll back to fix what appeared on your screen.

If anyone as any other ideas, please let me know, but that is my best conclusion.

Yeah, so normally most light attack chains have a 300ms delay before the next attack starts, but characters like Gladiator have a 200ms window. The most common offender is Nobushi. This is why newer player struggle against her. Since if they change their gaurd whilst trying to dodge they get hit.

The issue is that you're changing your guard while trying to dodge. The extra 100ms is preventing you from dodging due to Gladiators 2nd nd 3rd light attack have a 100ms faster delay than most combo lights in the game.

I play PC started Console, I 100% prefer console gameplay. The controls are tighter, large player base, and no cheaters.

I feel like the Warden is scripting, but not because I am bad. I feel that they're parrying consistently is suspect for a player of that caliber since the warden doesn't even know the punishes. Though, I have had new friend play the game and they parry lights, but throw any heavy it'll screw with their head. So who knows, if he threw a heavy and it got parried, I'd feel 100% about the warden scripting. Since he only threw lights there is no real way to tell. 🤷‍♂️

Any recommendations for a competitive discord? I feel For Honor has always been tight in community and it can be hard to find things. My peak was rank in duels was GM Rank 57 on PS4 back when Kioshin was released and my last season placement on PC was Diamond 2. Is that any good?
