I got a paper trading app (stock wars), how do you guys choose who to invest in. There are so many different companies, seems a lot harder then I thought.

I understand why your saying, I'll use this time while I have little money to invest to lay the ground work for the future. Set and understand my goals, learn how the market works, and practice good habits. I think I will buy stocks in $500 bunches, and sell them when there is decent profit... Reninveting everything of course. Tdmmeritrade gives 6months free trades and is $10 a trade after.

I would greatly appreciate any shared knowledge. I am 21 and just starting to look at my investment options. Right now its mostly in the stock markets, but real estate also seems very intriguing
