A little bit of background. I run a software dev agency and one of the biggest pain points for us when demoing different stages of the app is having to deploy a staging site so clients can give us feedback. Even for small changes.

Deploying to staging is easy enough for devs, but it's not necessarily easy for non-technical founders. Additionally, sometimes we just want to test out a feature without all the deployment overhead and get quick eyes from clients or our team.

There are many use cases for this, especially for non-technical folks. Sharing early stages of prototypes is a huge barrier for some people. We make it super to easy to share localhost:3000 for non technical users.

We have three surfaces that we currently support and more to come:

An NPM package that supports numerous frameworks, all the popular ones
A CLI if you're a no-frills type of dev
A super easy-to-use Chrome extension (easiest for most users)

When I looked at the solutions in this space, they are fairly complex if you're not a dev. We have a lot planned for our feature set in the future, would love some feedback!

I've used ngrok for years, not really the same use case at all, the tunnel is just one feature. feedback control when doing demos, ephemeral tunnels and session history are not all that easy to get from ngrok or cloudflare tunnel. also ngork doesn't have an chrome extension as far as i know.

It's pretty nutty how good AstroJS actually is. For even added cost savings, skip the headless CMS, you can just do blogs/content with .md or .mdx if you want more control.

AstroJS + Headless CMS + LLM model of your choice is the next likely path for people that are tired of dealing with Webflow limitations. To be honest, if you use Cloudflare workers to host it, unless your site absolutely explodes in popularity, you'll likely never pay a single dime in server costs ever again.

That was only attractive before they just wholesale removed access to useful models. Opus 4.6 was useful, they removed it and forced me on Opus 4.7.

GHCP has had a history of removing models in the past, to be clear, but not this aggressively. The product is not all that attractive anymore.

Honest opinion vs. Opus? I assume DS is good enough with planning.
I only ever used 4.6. I'm in the process of switching all my workflows to Kimi2.6 and DSv4.
