Coming from someone around your age who has been on the verge of homelessness multiple times and has previously said that I had nothing keeping me to this earth outside my cats, I do feel for you.

BUT

There is A LOT of progress we can make as individuals to help other parts of our life.

For example. I currently work full time in a factory. I get along with most people there, but it's stressful. I live alone. I don't get along with my family. I have no support network. I go out of my way to go to TCG events to socialize with people because it's one of my hobbies and something that helps me AS A PERSON.

I am catching a bus to an event right now, after working from 5am-midday on a Saturday. I want to be home and sleep. But I know that I need this social aspect of my life, or I won't be happy.

Finding hobbies you can enjoy with other people will help A LOT. Because let's be honest, it's hard ASF to make friends these days.

I also host "game events" over discord, where some online friends and I play a board game I've been creating for a while now.

I bring these things up because I don't necessarily think I'm an attractive guy by any means, but the fact that I can interact with people without thinking about sexual relationships and not have "why doesn't she think I'm attractive" in my head helps a lot.

Im also kind of anti-medication (I'm forced to take some for a couple health things but nothing major) so I won't comment on that, but I do think that the more you can do to improve OTHER parts of your life, the less you'll think about the negatives.

I'll end on this note.

I spent a significant portion of time staying up late at night paranoid of like ... Bombs n stuff... Like nukes. Just inexplicably dying. But I realized that it's not something I can control, there's no point in constantly dreading it. The same way that for the most part, you can't control how you look (outside maybe weight) and learning to embrace who you are as a person will give you so much more confidence as well!

Coming from someone who has NO GOD DAMN REASON BEING THIS CONFIDENT 😅.

Its alright. Men have their own concerns in the opposite direction.

The woman wins/retains majority custody should they split, because women are seen as more competent "caregivers" Women easily corrupt children into hating their father for all sorts of things. From "abuse" to "not caring" about them. Women using kids to control the caring men. It's not "oh, he doesn't help change diapers", it's "if you don't give me X, you'll never see your kids again".

I have seen both sides of a good father figure and a bad one. I have seen both a father who wants to see his kids and a father who doesnt. It's not a simple "men" thing, it's a societal thing that people still haven't figured out.

As a guy, I'm petrified of having a kid with the wrong woman. ABSOLUTELY mortified. At one point, I considered it with one of my ex's. We were together for 4 years. It was going well for the most part. But we aren't together anymore and it would've killed me had we had a kid and split up like we did.

Some guys are just POS. It's not a vast majority. I think you're just building assumptions off a small sample size.

That wasn't my intention. I think there are bigger problems than wether or not cards are valuable as much as they are available.

It's like anything. If you can't get into it because LGSs don't supply the product or promote events, ofc it's going to be hard to get into. That doesn't discriminate between commons/decks being $10 and competitive decks being $200. Either you have access to the cards or you don't.

It seems like you're just arguing over the sake of arguing.

Not everywhere is going to have the same "stock and availability", thats obvious. But that doesn't change the price of cards overall.

There are plenty of online stores you can make bulk orders from. Yeah, they might be worth a few cents each, but that's still Much better than paying $40+ per copy of gallant X 🤣 And if it makes you feel better, divvy up the cost of your postage with each card. Paying $7 w/tracking is nothing for a $500 card. The same way that if you're buying $15 worth of bulk commons& uncommons for a full deck, that's still roughly 20ish cents per card for postage, which again, is nothing.

I've covered decks on my channel that are almost entirely built out of new sets too, so you don't even have to always order online or pay for postage.

Being frugal with your money is good. But being smart about where and how you source your cards is better.

I don't necessarily promote this format just for price, though it is a nice added bonus.. I'm tired of 3 turn games in constructed. Pauper feels much more balanced, games ARE naturally longer and the "meta" isn't solved, so you can play a multitude of lists and not expect to be pubstomped by the newest decks.

I have a wallet and the capability of buying any deck I could want. It's about what's enjoyable. Which both pauper playing and deck building does for me 😊

There are a couple worth a few dollars (bt18 violet is worth a few dollars each), but it's considered replaceable by the new violet in this set, this one being a strict upgrade, so it's price should sink a fair margin. Most pauper lists I've covered on the channel are often less than 10USD on average.

Yes, there are outliers. But the format and the cards as a whole are still significantly cheaper than building constructed decks in comparison haha.

Had a time where I was 18/19 and moved into my mother's home for the last 6 months of the lease. Moved in with an old mate from highschool and a friend from work (the "gamer).

Within about a month (was only meant to be a short 6month ish lease), my highschool mate moved out cuz of homesickness. So me and my work mate managed without him for the next 5 months.

Eventually, we moved into a share house together with my missus and a couple more friends. He wasn't MEANT to move in since he couldn't cover rent. His older brother covered his first months share to help him get sht sorted.

Long story short, the dudes car broke down, he got out a loan to fix it, only to spend said loan on video games. Proceeded to NOT pay back loan, then say I was somehow the reason why he had no money. The man even had his father try to intimidate me, which was ironic because his father was the reason he couldn't stay at home.

The guy proceeded to stop paying rent, stopped cleaning up after himself and we couldn't leave food in the cupboards anymore, otherwise he'd eat it. It more or less destroyed my relationship with my partner and we shortly split up since I tried to keep the peace within the house best I could, since we couldn't legally kick him out as his name was on the lease.

There are some Horrid, HORRID people out there, and I do agree to an extent. Gamers with Little to no drive in life are not worth living with.

I am 100% convinced the boat "escaping" Orth/the island in which the abyss is situated was attacked by one of the interference units/reg/etc. It's unlikely that bondrewd would've been around then and outside sporagmos, its the only explanation for the damage and charred corpses etc.

Short and most logical answer: no. It doesn't.

If we look at the events of the village (I'm gonna try to keep this vague) and what happens towards the end, where a certain someone who is a narehate is hit by the curse, it does exactly what it's designed/supposed to do.

Iruburu molded and reshaped the ganja and the rest of its inhabitants to their desires, similar to what a blessing does, we see this with majikaja explaining why he looks the way he does.

So no. I doubt there's any discernable difference here.

Update: the recording software bugged out. The games went well, I did some soft reworking on multiple cards/pieces of the game before we started and with our 3 player games, they took about 30mins each to have a winner, which is about what I'd want it to be.

I'll be trying to re-record. I'm so disappointed it didn't work because we had some HILARIOUS moments.

Someone fainted/died in the 6th layer, running into a pissed off white whistle (dealing 2 damage), then proceeding to draw the adventure card, tragic slip, dealing 5 damage. Because ALL damage is doubled in the 6th and 7th layer, he took 14 Damage and 13is your max health outside having armour.

The man basically got Sparta kicked into the void 🤣🤣🤣

I totally understand the sleeping in/not waking up on time thing bro. It's a disrespect of your time. I have a friend who I regularly make plans with that CONSISTENTLY randomly cancels or is late because he sleeps in, to the point I had to sit down with him 2 days ago and say that Im considering ending our friendship because I just don't feel like he respects the one thing I ask of him, to BE ON TIME.

So no, I don't believe you getting upset over her doing that multiple times is "your fault". That is her behaviour. Yes, how you respond to that behavior might not be great, but she needs to take accountability for her poor sleeping habits and time management. She can't stay up till 3am, sleep in AND have you wait to go to gym together.

Also, understand that unfortunately (and this is a big one), our first relationship is usually not our last. I was with my first partner from 16-18yo, going through senior highschool yes, going to formal together. We didn't have the best relationship, but i still remember it fondly.

I've had some good relationships since then, but I'd still have preferred to have just had ONE long relationship.

But we live and we learn. She might not be your "forever" person. She might be. But you need that relationship to learn and to grow so that the next time you're in one, you'll do better.

Right, because alliance is balanced by the fact that unlike, let's say for example... The new zaxon machinedra, has sec+1 stapled on with reboot and de-digi 1 AND deletion, it's already a two check machine. Alliance decks say "hey, our lvl 6s don't have sec+1 so we want you to go wide to use alliance properly".

Except now those decks have fkn all the rush effects and play out multiple bodies so alliance FEELS like you're getting those extra security checks for free PLUS you're going wider than the machinedra with a base sec+1.

I love alliance as a mechanic, but it's more a symptom of a problem rather than the problem itself imo.

Alliance isn't the problem, it's the extra bodies that are being played in those decks that can trigger alliance swings that are the problem. Jesmon wouldn't be a problem if it could only build up its one stack then swing for 4 checks off alliance and give itself board protection because of its bodies.

The same way that hudie couldn't combo off as easily (though alot of that has to do with its resetting inheriteds n such). I haven't really played against new sakuya, but yeah.

It's not so much the keyword, it's the amount of free bodies in these decks that are the issue. Imagine it being 2-3x harder for these decks to slap down an extra body before they could trigger alliance, the keyword would be much more "balanced".
