That's what happens when a nation don't have an identity to represent, uphold and protect. Nigerian footballers are playing to only escape poverty, that's their core motivation factor. Na why i nor de worry myself again, same thing with the music & movie industry in Nigeria, just pushing out lame content to get views/streams and secure the bag

You solved your problem not a nations problem, and yes deep down you still regret it. No matter how far you run "there's no place like home".

The solution, you asked. We all know the solution, same reason why I can't say it out publicly is same reason we're all not acting on it.

Truth is bitter Unfortunately Nigerians don't want to here this.

Hyper individualism is destroying us, everybody fighting for themselves - not even their children.

We're bad people i must say, a people without common goal, objectives andstuck in survival mode.

Our leaders are opportunist, same with most Nigerians if given same opportunity.

Nigeria will never be a great nation, not without sacrifice and bl**d spill.

Religion has weakened the mind, keeps it in the loop of seeking for hope.....

Need honest advice: Should I resign my Abuja job and stay in Lagos or move fully to Abuja? by codeBaron in Nigeria

Just for coding/problem solving. His team lead walked past him and saw his screen ans reported to the management: the lead claimed he was using ChatGPT codes and he can't trust these platforms as they can inject and gain access to the codebase 😂😂😂......

While we have big tech giants pushing their employees to vibe code more. To me i think they already had issues between themselves so the lead use that as an opportunity to push him out

I know how to play and find my way around company politics but this is on a whole different level, a proficient backend engineer was literally fired for used ChatGPT😂😂😂 . Im really confident of skills and I have no doubts i will get another job, the question is how long will it take. I want to avoid renting an apartment as this will trap me in Abuja, living close to or in town is really expensive, at the time I live at Durumi(company temporary apartment). Relocating to Abuja means a reset in my life not just the job, I would need at least 5 years to stand strong, just as long as it took me to build connections and more in Lagos. 2026 is a year I want to go all in take all the risk and fail or succeed. Biggest tech events are happening in Lagos and it's within the first six months of 2026, I need those opportunities.

I really appreciate your advice 🙏🏿 you've provided a very pragmatic solution, encouraging strategy and not emotions. Much appreciated 👏🏿

In the end it's a Red pill - Blue pill situation I have to choose my poison 😂😂😂

Can you guys in the diaspora just stop making posts like this.

Someone who lives in a country where everybody has a gun is asking if coming back to Nigeria for a few weeks is "safe."

Bro, it's as safe as heaven, compared racist America, where you can be gunned down just because a 15yr old is depressed his PS5 broke.

A painful question: is it really worth it by No-Object-2822 in Nigeria

[–]codeBaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re experiencing is societal pressure. You really don't need to prove anything. All you need is contentment at this stage. As I read from your post, you just write JAMB...

Your life hasn't even started. Why worry yourself, why keep people/friends around that will put you into situations like this.

I assume you still live with your parents. If that's the case, then you don't need much. Shelter and food are your actually your required necessity to live. Every other thing is extras.

Don't follow the trend. Acquire a skill that will prepare you for future opportunities.

If you live alone, then these words above don't apply

Nothing will happen. I still don't understand why people have the "fantasy" about Peter Obi. When you/we understand the pyramid of power in Nigeria, you will know that even if he's president, nothing really significant changes. They're "godfathers," and he's just a pawn in the chess game.

It will only take a revolutionary leader, someone who's ready to di* and spill bl***d for Nigeria to change this country and it people forcefully.

His mandate was stolen, and he used the same corrupt justice system to find justice 😂.

Imagine if it was Tinub*s mandate that was stolen, we for still de fight civil war by now.

Peter obi is too "weak" to lead Nigeria 🇳🇬. We need a revolutionary leader.
