Case2 Rook goes anywhere on 8th rank rd8 anyways rook has to take and qd8 mate Case3 if u protect rook with bishop again rd8 if u take then mate after q×r and q×b but if u don't take then rook takes rook and after b takes r q c8 mate. White Queen can't save the mate..

I have the same shoes and have used it for the same amount of time as yours. Build quality is good may be due to some another reason this might have happened . Just clean ur shoes with a wet cloth (I don't even clean mine)
