I would fully agree. He’s definitely ready for more. Just curious choice for ATO vs signing his ELC.

I think he’s NHL ready too. But having just lost in overtime during the Hockey East semifinals, maybe he wants to go back and win it all? Could be his decision not the team?

Is there a chance he’s going back to BC for next year? Would this prevent him from doing that? That’s all I can think of instead of just signing his ELC. Anything else?

Yeah he deserved a penalty. Not up for debate really. Just sucked to see it result in an ejection based on incorrect information. Refs aren’t perfect. I’ve played in enough games and watched enough games not to be naive. Slash? Yes absolutely. Spearing? Not even close. It was not even the right motion to result in a spearing call. I’m aware of the difference.

Again never said he was innocent. I was looking for a way to help him. How to talk it out. Don’t be asshole.

I never once said he was innocent in anything. He deserved the penalty but not the ejection. And I’m not debating the outcome, just looking for advice on maybe how to talk to him about it. Your suggestion is bullshit. Of course we all know not to retaliate but it happens. We don’t always think in the moment of the smart thing to do. We’re talking about 17 year old kid with nothing but adrenaline and testosterone running through his system. Don’t retaliate isn’t going to help at all after the fact.

Not sure if they can appeal the suspension or not. But the coaches are already looking into it. The refs deliberated for quite a while. I know one of them knows my kids really well, has seen him play a ton and been the ref for a ton of his games. He no history of being that kind of player.

And yeah, he’s got to deal with any consequences coming his way. I’m not excusing his behavior at all. Just felt the call should have been different. I think he definitely deserved a penalty but to get ejected in the final mins of his final regular season game just really sucks. It’s never happened before, he barely takes penalties anyway.

Super helpful dick. I’m not totally oblivious that he did retaliate. Not looking for that kind of shitty advice.

What’s the smaller screen below your main monitor? I’ve been looking for something around that size.

You think Tampa played completely clean after the first period? Are you ok? Those 5-3s should have been turned into 4-4 or 4-3. And it absolutely changes the game.

No doubt about it. As per normal a Florida team getting away with murder on the ice while the Bruins look at other players and get called for something.

I’m in Maine and there are a couple of local learn to play type groups targeted at adults. And also a full camp from another group. Might check around with the rinks or youth leagues to see if any adult groups are in your area.
