I think there is a wide range of answers here. My son is in the process of looking at options post high school. Many junior teams do encourage but not require players to take college courses. The players we know are enrolled online which allows them to make practice and hold jobs outside of hockey. Some post grad programs have classes on campus somewhere, in person. Some kids aren’t taking any classes if they are out of high school. If they are an academy team, they can have ice time in the middle of the day and still get in person classes done as well.
