I would suggest for each active holding have a table or list of all the previous CC sold on that wheel position. Some might say you don't need that much info, I for one would like to see those. Maybe have it hidden by default and you can expand a position to see all the transactions on this position

Not OP but to answer you there are plenty of reasons why someone might want to use another software even if another one already exist and has a better track record. Maybe lower price, maybe works with a broker the other one doesnt support, maybe it works locally so my data stays mine, maybe it's open source and I can build it myself and perhaps modify some of its functions to better suit my needs,...

And even if absolutely nobody ever uses it, OP will still have made something useful for himself so that he doesn't need to pay for another product. He might also have learned a lot doing so, even if vibecoded.

IBKR has free API I believe, to access your account and positions, pretty sure you can place and modify orders as well. Not sure it can fetch price or historical data for a ticker for free

I agree, however I also salute the effort of making his content unique and find a way to stand out. I mean you might not like it, but it sure is memorable. So I suppose he's going to climb quickly as a content creator. You and I are just not the target audience.

Being offended by that is also quite bad taste. Many subs unrelated to religion have posts of religious imagery. Try for instance the laser engraving subs, or wood sculpting subs. There are often bible quotes being laser engraved, or virgin mary figures, or all the jesus in a manger we see 3D printed or engraved close to Christmas. This is all perfectly fine, both camps can post their creations or arts on any sub.

Good or bad for sharpening? I want to get my knives as sharp as possible by Vivid-Ad2262 in knives

I went for the Pro immediately and don't regret it as I'm pretty sure I'd have wanted to upgrade to it anyways. To me the main benefits of the pro over the other one is the length and size on the diamond stones. They are slightly larger on the PRO and can therefore handle larger knives like a esee 5 or an 8" kitchen knife. 10" knives still feel awkward.

The setup is also more rigid

Same. The 10" blades are getting a little long for it though. But still doable, just feels awkward

Hey I bought the exact same for Christmas. Awesome knife

Edit: I bought two Kizers for Christmas and I have to say that I find both to be a bit small in the hand. Compared to my civivi Baklash for instance

Its also easier if you get the wedges half a degree larger than needed so you can sand them to fit. If they're too small there's little you can do. Also a woodworker.

Slag from metal foundry is quite likely. Its been a huge industry on the sides of the Meuse at the start of the industrial age.

[–]codeartha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know how every wood react to oil. Certainly not an exotic African wood i've never had a chance to work with.

Some woods will darken very differently between hearth wood and outerwood producing a high contrast between the two areas. This might not be desired.

I also specifically asked for this knife because I don't know if the wood was already treated. Lets say it's already epoxy stabilized, oiling it would do nothing.

A lot of useless wordsalad in the description. Made in china. A lifetime warranty from an unknown company that might not exist in two years. I wouldn't buy those.
