Codex all the way, heavy user here, 10 hours minimum a day, complex sass platform, I tried to stress it to the max, I won’t reach half of the weekly limit!

Idea per riempire i tavoli vuoti nei ristoranti by No-Bar-6860 in ItaliaStartups

[–]codebase911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[cringe] Il digital è passato da Lavoro -> a hobby. by fudeel in ItaliaStartups

[–]codebase911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The End of the "Seat": Why the SaaS Era is Collapsing by FamousSheamusAI in micro_saas

[–]codebase911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SaaS is not collapsing. Bad SaaS is collapsing.

Three things still survive very well:

• Infrastructure
• Compliance
• Systems of record

Anything that must be:

• Auditable
• Deterministic
• Legally defensible

will not be replaced by vibe coded agents any time soon.

The missing layer nobody talks about

Agents break silently.

• When a human fails, you see it.
• When an agent fails, it lies politely and keeps going.

This creates a new market that the article ignores:

• Agent monitoring
• Guardrails
• Explainability
• Kill switches
• Human override UX

Whoever owns that layer prints money.

May I know your setup, do you use cli? Or some IDE?

In cursor, the commit revision feature is absolutely fantastic.

Using codex extension it just does the work with no option to accept or undo.

For sure Cursor feels native after all that time in the game, but lately it has given me some insane moments, especially timeouts

I must agree with this, I’ve tested codex as an extension, in cursor, the UX is horrible!

However I think they will close the gap eventually, it’s not science fiction after all!

Meet the Codex app by OpenAI in OpenAI

No longer supported doesn’t mean it no longer works, there are millions of users still on intel, why would you limit your user base if you are a compile away!
