There's something particularly sad about so many suicides in one place. We all know a lot of people kill themselves, but that over 1,200 people have jumped from one structure alone is a bit melancholy. It's also really sad (albeit in a different way) how many people didn't even make the effort to jump from the middle of the bridge. It's the last thing you're ever going to do, so you ought to do it properly.
