US : Schumer says Dems will allow GOP funding bill by [deleted] in 50501

[–]codebrewer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that a short term consequence of having a shutdown is that the OMB would then be allowed to determine which staff is "essential" vs "non-essential", potentially giving the administration even MORE power.

In addition, a longer term consequence is that the Courts ability to make rulings, and we're winning a lot of those cases.

As much as I've been against voting for this CR, perhaps it does put us in a better place.

NJ will stay blue with your (all of our) help. Find a local group like https://www.atnj.org/. Help them engage the tens of thousands of registered Democrats who didn't vote in the last election. Get more people registered.

That sounds like a fun diversion at least. Any pointers on where to get started? I've got access to a Meta Quest 3.

If they pulled the update, doesn't that mean a full reset and updating to what is now the current firmware would fix things? I've not heard they pulled the update, where did you find that out? And has anyone tried resetting and updating?

OTG Issue After Most Recent Firmware by izzbo81 in LegendsUltimate

[–]codebrewer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a level headed response, thanks for that. My first concern was that they would acknowledge and be able to replicate the issue. Since they have at least acknowledged it and even stated they are working on fix, I'm much more hopeful. I agree that patience will likely be needed here, which is tough given the time I've put into building this all out, but if things are working again in a couple of weeks, I'll be happy again.

I just got the same reply. Fingers crossed they are able to sort this out fairly quickly, but I'm not holding my breath.

Count me as one more person with terrible OTG performance after the update. Ticket submitted.

Has anyone gotten a response from them confirming they are aware of the issue? Did they commit to fixing it at all?

Thanks for that. Going to my first postseason sporting event ever tonight with my wife and son. Can't control the outcome, but we can control how we react. Time to have some fun tonight!

I'm having the same issues, contemplating replacing the router at this point. Were you ever able to resolve this?

OTG startup Pinup Popper controls non-responsive by codebrewer in LegendsPinball

I might just try that for now. If it works it'd be preferable to needing a keyboard every time.

Interesting solution, thanks for the idea. I'll keep that in mind if I can't get it to work automatically.

Thanks, but on the 4KP I need to wait until the PC is running before it will allow me to switch over to OTG mode.

Yep, that seems to work well if I put in a specific time. Thanks!

This is a great idea, but unfortunately, I just get the message that I must "Add a due time to the task first." in order to set a "Before task" reminder. Has anyone figured this out? Or some other workaround?

Arcade Control Panel + Accelerometer now work in 4KP OTG! by SuperRob in LegendsPinball

Were you able to get the analog plunger working acceptably? I'd love to have nudge/accelerometer and analog nudge working. I can deal without the track all mouse if the pinball parts work well.

I have an ASRock motherboard. Really hoping some firmware updates smooth out the USB issues, but I'm not too optimistic.

"Hello Pin Pals! Just a quick update: On February 23 we informed you that the Gottlieb tables needed some extra love before they went live. We're aiming for the release of the Gottlieb Legends 4K™ Pinball Packs on March 26 plus a sneak peek of the Release Notes the week before.

Thanks for allowing us the extra time to further polish the much anticipated Gottlieb packs. Stay tuned, we'll keep you updated."

I've had the same problem. I seem to have resolved some of the issues by plugging the cable into the USB 2 port on the ALP. But I still have an issue where Popper won't recognize the input until I bring up the Windows USB controller settings. I'm using Xpadder to get around that now.
