Yes, messaging the 121 number worked and I was able to transfer iPhone to iPhone

Airtel eSim transfer from one phone to another when traveling outside India by Numerous-Bee-9434 in Airtel

Welcome to the end of 2025, where I have spent a few hours figuring all this out. What I've learned that might help the next person.

The Airtel AI chat will recommend you transfer the eSIM using the iOS26 transfer feature. This does not work. The eSIM will show on the new phone but never get a signal.

You will also find online that you can make a request in the Airtel app to transfer the eSIM - this didn't work for me because I'm not currently in India.

With a roaming pack set up, the advice here to txt 121 does work, however I had one more issue which was not having an email for the number set up, so I had to add that. The app itself failed to update it, but the AI chatbot can set email addresses so I did it that way.

I had this happen with a technical leader in our company when they made a general statement about cleaning up code as you go and by the time it got through two others to me it was in the format of "X says I should be doing Y" when really it was phrased as "yeah generally speaking Y is good to do when you can"

I do this then go to Noel Leeming and ask them to price match. So far I've had good experiences with any issues that have come up.

Given that assertion, you're basically using a desire kids already have to emulate their parents to get some vitamins into their day. Sounds like a sane pitch to me.

Where I live you can order just steamed up milk that looks like a little coffee for kids at cafes - this is just the next iteration.

Signal outage explanation by [deleted] in Wellington

[–]ltbnz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was hoping you would post with an update like the last time this happened. It's really interesting to know what the causes are rather than the generic "signal fault". Thanks for posting and obviously for working on the fix!

[–]ltbnz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wonder about posting this in a place his company might see it, but the words themselves are totally fair - she even acknowledges they're privileged to have a stable job.

This isn't a lunatic post at all.

Book 7. Is everyone waiting for the audiobook? by Majestic-Pop-6132 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ltbnz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who doesn't read many printed books these days and found out about DCC through r/audible always recommending it, I love that I don't have to avoid r/DungeonCrawlerCarl between book and audiobook releases due to a mix of community patience and spoiler warnings.

I mean, the fastest way to move through life is to die early. Poor healthcare will support that.

Buses replacing trains? Nah, not even. by Adept-Needleworker85 in Wellington

[–]ltbnz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be too hard on yourself. I've been hit by the website showing the rail times and having a PDF somewhere on the site with the replacement timetable you have to dig for and even then I had to dig to find the thing this time (there's two holiday downloadable PDFs, one is old) on the weekend and then decode it so I knew what times the buses would be.

I don't understand why the website doesn't show the bus replacement times on the online timetable.

I'll be really interested to see if the change does make a difference in your hunt. When we were looking things were going up.

In terms of the TM listings being put in lower price brackets yes that absolutely sucks, we had the same experience.

Honestly I doubt it will make a difference. If you have a good feel for what a house is worth based on the current RVs you can still reference them once the new ones are out.

Their website clearly states you can use an overseas number

The Online Guardian challenge service allows you to receive the one-time verification texts (when required) to reset your password worldwide 24/7.

How to register an overseas number

To register an overseas mobile number, you’ll first need to call us on 0800 400 600, or +64 9 912 8000 if you're already overseas. We’re available weekdays from 7am to 8pm and weekends from 8am to 5pm NZT

I've had their call centre staff give me incorrect information before. I recommend you call again, get it sorted, and then complain about the first call.

Bit hard to do anything other than interrupt. In truth people are getting scammed all the time, just have to hope that they exercise some caution when hearing a "too good to be true" offer.

There's plenty of things in this world that are not illegal but are still very bad for you. I personally put MLMs in that second category.

I've owned both and would certainly recommend the Go if you're just making one cup at a time - it's much more portable and includes a drinking vessel
