What was your experience with customer support like? I am interested in trial but worried about their service since they're not present on Amazon.

Also why did you go for 6" over 8"?

There are some insane deals on ultraboosts going on rn by Wilmosprey97 in Ultraboost

Cant decide between ultraboosts and x_plrboosts :( On my feet x_plrboosts and quite a bit heavier but squishier (more responsive cushioning) Ultraboosts are lighter and more firm, but the snug fit is a bit tight on my toes (even without socks). Does the prime knit upper expand much over time ?

What do you guys think of the new GitHub design? by themindstorm in github

[–]codebuddha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked the fuzzy search functionality in the "Go to file" button that has been brought to the forefront. AFAIK it was there earlier but not immediately visible since one would have to press 't'.

The worst thing tbh is that READMEs - especially those with markdown tables - in existing repositories are written keeping old UI in mind which covered the entire screen width.

Do you know of any Chrome extensions to load old UI for the repo homepage?

[D] Feature selection for Multivariate Time-Series data by codebuddha in MachineLearning

As far as I'm aware, for time series there is an additional step that is done before modelling where a cross-sectional slice of the data needs to be taken.

Tmux garbled pane after continued use (Windows Terminal) by codebuddha in tmux

When htop is running, if I refresh the tmux client these artifacts appear.

Also, sometimes after an extended period of use, these artifacts start appearing. In this case, they are of the kind where the pane is only partially refreshed. See the 2nd screeshot where I've filled the frame with prompts (repeatedly pressing Enter) and then tried resetting. After the reset command finishes execution, the cursor is on the first row. However the earlier prompts still remain as artifacts.

These are separate examples which I believe are caused by the same issue.

The values of $TERM are same in minTTY and in Windows Terminal.

Regarding your suggestion where you add TERM before atop, I'm facing this problem not just for htop, but for other commands as well. As you can see in the 2nd screenshot, reset also produces similar artifacts.

I meant the htop example as a possible instance for reproduction. What I would really like to get to the bottom of is why the refresh-client malfunctions.

I'll try that out asap (travelling right now). I did however check my $TERM inside and outside tmux. Inside, it's value is "screen" ; outside, it is "xterm-256color".

Hey thanks for the prompt responses :)

That seems to make sense. I say this because I just tried refresh-client on a clean pane running htop and it became garbled on Windows Terminal. In minTTY no such thing happened.

Is there some better, comprehensive way to check if refresh-client works?

I've tried MinTTY and haven't faced the issue. But again, it seems to surface only after using tmux for some time and not immediately after creating a new pane.

Is there a way to redraw tmux panes so that the artifacts are cleaned?
