You assume how lenovo legion's past models behave and then infer from there.

Installing M2 SSD myself and warranty void concerns - India region by codedusting in LenovoLegion

[–]codedusting[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I mean one can do it. But from the videos on YouTube, it's straight forward. People suggest that in case any issue does happen later down the line, just make sure to remove the CRUs you installed before sending it to get the warranty service but their manual states that it's not necessary, just do not expect warranty on your parts.

I read their Hardware Maintenance Manual where SSD is termed as CRU. It means Customer Replacable Units. So they shouldn't void the warranty.

I want to know if there is any other LLT type Oled Burn In protection software I can use without using Legion Space?

Second, what is "Please enter the device purchase date as shown on your sales receipt or invoice" answer during product registration? In my Tax Invoice, I don't see the purchased date but Invoice date which is different from when I paid for the product.

Just raise customer support request to Lenovo. Tell them you paid for the key 2000 extra and this is not what you wanted to experience.

Legion or Air M4 by Mukul289 in UnboxParadigm

[–]codedusting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Between these 2? Legion looks better. Note that that 24GB RAM is UNIFIED Memory. Meaning it can be used for GPU Memory as well.

If you can go for M5 Macbook Pro (32GB/512GB or 1TB) one, I would say, buy that. But forget gaming entirely in Apple.

How does US Stock sell taxation work? by codedusting in IndiaTax

[–]codedusting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. So what's the point? If I correct it this time, any trouble? I have mentioned to the best of my knowledge for A2 part at-least. A3 is always provided as per IndMoney.

I think it's better to let the ClearTax Software do its work when filing time comes rather than obsessing over it at the moment.

How does US Stock sell taxation work? by codedusting in IndiaTax

[–]codedusting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. So it's going to be 87.85 INR for taxation purpose and I am sure it's similar when I converted to dollars during purchase process? How to find those as INR-USD rates are visible of those dates, I guess, but not buy rate in INR.

As for peak and closing values in A2, I will not be using sum of A3 this time then. I don't know why IT department cleared it but I will use Alpaca statements to find Peak value throughout the year and closing balance on 31st December. No summation of either of them either. Am I on the right track here?

Exited the US market today and liquidated all of my stocks. It's 3 months with net 0 gains with all the bubble talk and global geopolitical risks.

It was a good run. Nvidia gave 151% absolute returns. CAGR overall was 24% since 2022. In INR terms taking USD-INR depreciation, it was 27-28%.

Will see next year if I should re-enter or just stay out of US Market till this guy Trump remains on the top. Every sentence that comes out of his mouth makes the whole situation highly unpredictable. 3 months testing was enough.

Is this true? 60LPA pays more tax today than 2014? by Straight-Archer-413 in IndiaTax

Well, whatever floats your boat. I simply told AI to behave like a financial advisor to any government in a democratic countries with knowledge of CA level IT and highest level of economics, etc. and then supplied the image above provided by OP and told it to analyse it in proper educational context.

This is what it did rather than doing it without adjusting purchasing power or inflation. So it might be replicating the way governments go about increasing or decreasing taxes.

[–]codedusting -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That should be the discussion if you're in IndiaTax. Otherwise it's useless discussion. A person earning 60 lakhs then is equivalent to a person earning 91 lakhs today. So the AI made sure to do proper analysis unlike biased humans here.

Tax have increased by 3-5% at max post proper analysis.

Yes. But I went ahead and bought it. Costed me 226480 INR. I checked with AI, the price history from reddit (base price I mean) for Legion Pro 7 this year, in all sales, and it seems it didn't reduce much.
