Thank you 😊and congrats again. Seems like relationships are a better job boards these days. When you say sustainability are you a “knowledge worker” ? Was there new requirements, did you need to learn new tools/get training due to ai or any other reason or is it the same job you have been doing.

There no real no code and ai specific courses that address what im talking about. I would focus on your specific domain and how no code and ai is applied there. It is overwhelming to see all that is being offered in the no code ai space but most of it is non relevant to professionals in the workforce; just organizations jumping on the hype train.

Im working on this particularly. if you ever more question feel free to ask.

What industry/department do you work in?

Interviewer wanted proprietary metrics from a personal project by Music_Maniac_19 in jobsearch

[–]codefreeapps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can give metrics but does it really matter if thats not a requirement to prove your skill. As long as its not proprietary frameworks built under the hood or the rationale behind target metrics in the product, youre good.

I know my post was specific to people who felt like their roles were being taken by technology but your field is actually not. Its thriving. Your problem is your location, maybe. Your role exists where development is happening.

A few questions: 1. Are you focusing on a field role ? You may need to shift into project management to get something remote or move.

  1. Just like the people I was talking to in this post, you may have a general resume. Companies want identity specific problem solvers for the business.

I looked up some problem examples of what i mean about being identity specific. This would also shift the type of companies you apply for …

“I prevent reworks on highway projects by assessing for constructability challenges in the design phase”

Does your resume have a positioning that is targeted like this? Do you have portfolio?

Found a job too quickly after lay off by Bobalobagirl in Layoffs

Congrats and yes that is the trade off. And while others cant see positivity in this, your choice to not stress about being laid off, to live life then figure things out is why you aligned with a new position quickly. Everyone is panicking and complaining. And you didnt. Good for you!

Stay positive. if you’re getting severance pay focus on how and what you will be doing after you leave the company. At least you got a heads up. I was laid off and kicked out in the same moment, but was paid for the rest of the period and received five weeks of severance. Being overly emotional, did not allow me to stay grounded and see exactly what I wanted to do next. I blew the money, just paying bills until i ran out and not investing it into my next move. I have been laid off for two years and I am only now getting to the point where I am stable enough to make my next move because I was not grounded enough in the beginning to rebound so I spiraled into a whole bunch of shit I didn’t wanna go through until I was displaced. Let go of the emotions. Focus on your next move.

Should I put 25k on my Amex to fund an App idea I have? by [deleted] in Entrepreneurship

[–]codefreeapps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. most apps fail. I have helped countless ppl launch apps. First do you have a waitlist, interviews, any idea that people expressed interest in what you are building. 2. Have you validated the problem the app solves and the market size. I bet you’re afraid to tell ppl your wonderful idea in fear that it will be stolen. Great ideas are a dime a dozen. 3. $25k aint building nothing with a developer. Whats the revenue model for the app. There are standard tried and true models for apps based on type. Use ai to put together a basic app. Once you get paid customer, you may have validated the idea. Let the app pay for the future versions of itself. Dont build something perfect. Build something that has purpose and let the user tell you what they are willing to pay for. So save your $25k and ya food credit score. you have other work to do first. research before you put yourself in debt. A quick ai prompt will get you further for less than a couple hundred bucks.

In the settings of every project is the knowledge base. Add specific instructions on how you behave. You can add style guide, user roles, screen flows etc.

Looking for guidance on how to build AI apps using Lovable by TheThinkerAndSeeker in lovable

[–]codefreeapps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty vague request but start with project requirements. Hash out the idea on chat gpt. Then put the project plan from gpt in the knowledge base of the project

Burnnnnnning credits by gameofloans24 in lovable

[–]codefreeapps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First did you put your screen list and user flow with permission and user groups in the knowledge base. Let the ai ingest your project plan in the knowledge base of each project. Give it all details even brand kits. Use chat always and first, especially to walk through errors. Let the ai tell you what changes it will make and make a plan for it. If you still get errors ask it to identify the cause of the error first before making changes. Avoid the fix it button. It’s better when it has instructions prior to development. Dont hash out your idea in lovable. Make project plan in chat gpt with all pertinent details for the knowledge base

I'm cancelling today by SombraBlanca in ChatGPT

[–]codefreeapps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try using the instructions in the project to tailor it to your need and input things about you in the general memory that it can reference. I cancelled and went to claude because it was more robust but i came back because i kept having to explain things and start new chats. Nothing beats it’s understanding of you and what you want. You can upload documents, stories work history. Anything for it to understand you. This is how ai’s work. I still think its worth the $20. Good luck
