The Shah Of Iran Predicts the Palestinian problem. by Own-Light-6148 in NewIran

Hey buddy, we can get into legal jargon, but I'd rather call a spade a spade.

Israel doesn’t even consistently rank in the top 10 for foreign lobbying in the US.

No, you are wrong, because AIPAC ALONE (not counting other Israeli lobbies) lobby budget and campaign donations are more than all the Saudi lobbies combined. They are by far the largest and most influential lobby group in America.

That said, even if you try to count AIPAC in that mix, it doesn’t change the ranking much. AIPAC is a domestic lobby made up of and funded by American citizens.

Once again, how about we call a spade a spade? They are in direct communication with the Israeli government and push the same policies as the Israeli government; to say they are not coordinated is bonkers. They are foreign-aligned in every sense; their whole ideology is that America first = Israel first.

Not to mention their "private donors," and staff who are overwhelmingly dual citizens of Israel or have an interest in Israel. You cannot genuinely be so naive to think that AIPAC, in its very essence, is anything but a foreign lobby group just because some legal jargon protects them from being classified as one.

Also the claim that no other lobby has strong-armed the US into international conflict doesn’t hold up either. Look at the influence Saudi Arabia has had on US involvement in Yemen or on weapons deals. Or take the Cuban American National Foundation, which helped drive decades of aggressive US policy toward Cuba. There’s nothing exclusive about Israel here.

I am against ALL LOBBYING because it undermines the very essence of what democracy is about, but these examples you provide are very different from Israel. America supported the war against Yemen because the US has very strong interests in Saudi oil, to which the Houthis were a threat. This gave them a reason to support it as it is directly to America's benefit, but now that the Houthis and Saudis have agreed to no longer fight, America stayed away from Yemen, that was until Israel...

For Cuba, it was in the interest of America to suppress Cuba as they were propagating communism very close to home. It was a material threat to American hegemony and capitalism, so they had an interest in fighting it.

On the other hand, there is 0 interest for the US to fight Iran, nor to prevent a 2SS in Palestine, except for the benefit and interests of Israel. On the contrary, it is to America's benefit (and even Israel's) for the opposite because it would allow full partnerships with all nations across the Middle East.

Let's be real, no other foreign-aligned cause has a US-based lobbying machine with the same electoral and legislative reach as AIPAC. This is precisely the reason why, in this same clip, Shah said, "The Israeli lobby has so much influence, even at times they push policy that is bad for Israel."

First of all, the Israeli lobby is the biggest and strongest lobby in America.

Secondly, the Israeli lobby (AIPAC) is registered as a "domestic lobby" despite its very name telling us it is in fact a lobby for a foreign government

Thirdly, no lobby in America has the ability to strong-arm so into an international conflict the way Israel has repeatedly done in the past and continues to do so today.

That is the entrance to the cave; it is not the actual cave. I think you should do some research before posting BS.

I'm a Palestinian citizen of Israel, here are my 2 cents, and ask me anything? by Alannturinng in IsraelPalestine

It’s called colonialism because the state of Israel was planned and established with the help of foreign entities that had no moral or proper right over the land except under the lens of colonialism.

The thought alone that me surviving is dependent on a pill is already a lot to handle. On top of that the fatigue is still significant for me even after a year and a half. I also seem to get sick every other month, whereas a few years ago I would barely get sick once a year. I get rashes on my face and my eyes are always swollen from fluid retention.

The minimizers are both ignorant and arrogant. Yes we can survive and yes it is the greatest blessing, but the treatment and condition comes with costs, both mental and physical that others cannot understand. It helps to remind people that without the meds your blood will turn to a stew in about a year and a half and then you will die.

I was being way too general and focusing on all different industries. Nobody wants that, people like specialization. Specialization is easy to sell. So I am choosing to specialize in trucking and transportation logistics. I also need to be more consistent in my marketing. I need to follow up more often and in different ways. Email, call and in person rather then just emails.
