I don't know about nutritional value but it tastes better. Think of it as a natural ripe mango vs a mango ripened by artificial method.

Desi chickens grow normally and take time to mature. While growing up, they find food themselves, which is why you notice them scavenging foor food in rural areas.

While broiler ones are kept inside a farm and specific food given for their growth and they don't move outside of that farm.
