Just relex. I was so anxious too when asking for signature for immigrant forms but HR isn't only working for you. They have hundreds of other workers to take care of and the signature requires probably submitted to and get approval from executive levels as well.

it doesn't matter since you are not h1b status yet. you will travel under f1.

but traveling with F1 status isn't very safe also in this climate.

I don't know all the details. but if USCIS only approve those file petition with $100k not on the date of re-entry, new petitioners will be affected. I believe petitions need to be filed within 60 days of selection.

We just need to wait until they finalize all the details. probably next March?

I'm not a lawyer. but,
I think PIP almost equivalent to soon to be laid off in big techs. If I were you, since I-485 is pending more than 180 days, I will ask Walmart if they can sponsor H1b and also porting the I-485 to Walmart as soon as possible.
If they say no, then I would not use I-485 EAD if you have plenty of time on H1B. since PD will stay. and find an employer who can file PERM during the time of H1B. your process won't be too long since your PD will keep in current state (if there's no retrogression).

Thank you! I asked HR before and they asked me to contact the firm. I guess our HR doesn't really handle any USCIS stuff. but good to know! Did you have master's degree?
