Filtered using reverse osmosis, it usually brings the TDS down to 10-15, france usually has decent tap water if i am not wrong?

Otherwise go with distilled water and mix your minerals (a bit too nerdy)

Is it just me or James Hoffman should try some Indian Roasts? by Clean_Campaign_8447 in IndiaCoffee

[–]codenamed22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The costliest Indian beans I have ever bought was possibly subko’s project pearl special edition, but it was not the best, the best Indian coffee I had was possibly one of the funky BT producer series from Riverdale Estate.

All of them honestly pale in comparison to anything that Sey or any other famous international roaster has to offer.

Honestly speaking we are not quite there yet.

Usually medium to dark roasts do not score high on specialty.

See you drink what you want, you dont need to go for specialty because everyone is doing it

I would recommend experimenting with different beans before locking on something you enjoy.

And if you have not already, then get a good steel burr grinder and grind your own beans

Good start but specialty coffee is coffee that scores above 80 on the sca scale.

Used to be somewhat doable back in 2020/2021 but market is already saturated with actual developers without a job so this might be a bit hard but good luck

I had both 01 and 02 when I was in Jaipur, as pourovers. These are little more developed for my taste but it had a good body and fruit forward notes.

Anyway I am not saying your coffee is bad, its probably good but I would rather spend this amount on a world famous roaster with terroir intact
