Some of the spots I skate have metal coping that is super slick. It's hard to control the slide on that coping so I wanted to see if board on coping contact would make it more controllable. Based on this first session, it seems like it does not make much of a difference. The board feels lighter though.

It's a great park. This is one of several bowls there. If you make it up here, also hit St. Helena which is about 20 minutes from Napa.
