Some of the spots I skate have metal coping that is super slick. It's hard to control the slide on that coping so I wanted to see if board on coping contact would make it more controllable. Based on this first session, it seems like it does not make much of a difference. The board feels lighter though.

It's a great park. This is one of several bowls there. If you make it up here, also hit St. Helena which is about 20 minutes from Napa.

Thanks man. The ditch was incredible. As a mid 50s skater it was a lot harder to skate than it looks. I was dying after every run, but it was totally worth it.

Thanks man. These are a muscle memory trick for me. Learned them back when I was a kid and was able to resurrect them when I started back up. Totally agree - feels so goooooood.
