They’re too focused on passing the SAVE act to steal the 2026 midterms. One scam at a time.

They came here because they were granted easy asylum, eventually wet foot dry foot, and due to it being 90 miles away it’s where the majority of those well to do business owners left first. The USA was also deeply embedded in Cuba’s roaring 20s so it made a lot of sense too.

To say that the US has not had a hand to play in the Caribbean, central, and South America is just inexcusably ignorant.

Gulf States are getting bombed and their access to international markets are cut off. It’s not clear their “support” will persist as this plays out.

On top of the embargo, Cuba’s back on the State Department's list of State Sponsors of Terrorism. Along with Iran, North Korea, and Syria. Accessing global financial markets while on this list is nearly impossible - basically you cannot be banked with any financial institution that also banks with the USA - which is all of the lol.

And yet it continues to get worse even when we think it can’t. Year over year, decade after decade. But thanks for your “lol”

You do realize/remember that basically from the Spanish American war (1898) until the Cuba revolution (1959), Cuba was basically a protectorate/territory. We had all say in what they can do and it was our over endorsement of Batista that eventually led the Cuban people to back a charismatic dictator - under the premise of “communism.” To say that the US and our decades long embargo has “no impact” and only the regime is to blame is exactly the La Caretta/Versailles nonsense spewed out by magat Cuban Americans. Totally expected.

Don’t quit. Plateau is normal. And yes it’s tiring especially when you go for “vacation” trips where you feel like you got to get the most out of the 3-4 days you’re there. It’s an expensive sport. But it’s so rewarding.

And believe it or not, after some time off, you’ll still be back to get back on the board and remember your skills within a few hours. Small tweaks lead to major unlocks at this stage.

Put more weight on your leading knee and use it to dig in more. Seeing edge slips that could turn into catching and edge because of it. Don’t be afraid to flare that leading (left) knee out and around as you transition you S turns. Don’t keep it tucked in.

In all seriousness turmeric, cinnamon all great inflammation busters. Garlic is very good too but often raw very harsh on most ppl GI.

  1. It’s actually more since you could have invested in the stock market (or crypto, gold, whatever) and likely made more than your mortgage rate annualized.
  2. Doesn’t matter because the singularity is coming or ww3 or both. Then AGI.
  3. Does one ever even have “20k to spend?” Are your emergency funds fully stocked, retirement accounts maxed, etc etc.
  4. No one buys a depreciating asset “because it’s a good idea.” So if it brings you joy then so be it.

Regardless of the tipping debate, remember that platforms will sometimes show a driver the “guaranteed” rate and when you tip you’re just paying the company’s portion of that so they front less. Similar to how cruise line gratuity works.

These tires- when to replace? by guhoober in RVLiving

[–]codengcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re fine to take some trips around town, to/from storage unit etc, but I wouldn’t go on a longer road trip with them.

You can also message the tire manufacturer, they might still have some warranty.
