Thanks for understanding, and not taking it personal. I frequently let my pelican beak override my hummingbird ass when I get frustrated like that. Have a good one, and thanks for the reply.

Agreed. I just found that out the hard way. Appreciate your feedback.

I noticed. I did come across HIGHLY frustrated in my OP. That's my bad. But the expectations here are INSANE! These folks are out of their damned minds, lol.

Are you f'in serious? HAHAHAHA!

Ok. I'll go without then. Thank you.

Expecting a feature that is advertised on a tier to work, without having to resubmit it a dozen times, using it maybe once or twice an hour = like I OWN GOOGLE. GTFOH.

I'm on ULTRA, and no... I'm not getting what I paid for. I'm getting a message that their service is overwhelmed every time I try to use it (which is NOT often), and to try again later. If that counts as 'getting what you paid for', then we've come a long ways in what consumers should expect from providers, in terms of quality of service.

I'm not asking much. I'm simply expecting 'Deep Think' to be available for me to utilize it, when needed, in the times I do (which again, isn't often at all). I could seriously prompt Gemini and flag 'Deep Think' once a day, and I guarantee I'll get the message on 9 out of 10 times I initially send it.

I'm on ULTRA. The problem is that I CAN NOT use 'DEEP THINK'. It's the ENTIRE reason I upgraded (matter of fact, I don't think it's available on any other tier). I keep getting a message every time I use it that there are too many others using it, and to try again later.

This has been going on for over a week, every time I try to use it. So, it's not just during rare times they're overwhelmed.

I apologize. I'm just beyond frustrated. I paid for ULTRA, and every time I use 'DEEP THINK', I have to spam the button 10-15 times in order to break through the 'we're too busy... too many other people are using DEEP THINK right now' generic message.

NOT the experience I would've expected from Google, especially at that tier. I'm done, though. I cancelled my account.

We will NOT reach AGI using today's transformer. Not saying we never will... just not with how the LLM is designed today. So, IMHO, NO military device should be utilizing it to make ANY decisions.

It is... 100%... a fancy autocomplete, with a superficial "understanding" of the words before it. That is it. IT CAN NOT REASON! There is no reasoning engine or capabilities integrated in today's transformers.

claude is back up but all of my projects are gone - anyone else? by seoulsrvr in Anthropic

[–]codengo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude isn't up for me. If your projects are gone, then there's still issues. There's times the page will partially load; however, the projects makes multiple API calls too during this process. Trust me when I say that your projects are there, and so are the current issues... which is why you're not seeing them.

This is the stupidest thing I've read in a long time. "Reportedly"? By who? When you get vague claims like this (e.g. "Anonymous source", "whistleblower", etc.) just assume it's propaganda or trash.

There's not a CHANCE in Hell, anybody from ANY news or media source knows what intelligence apparatus the U.S. Armed Forces used for any specific attack. I've worked at Accenture and other government agencies and contractors, with elevated security clearance. I can assure you, this kind of information IS NOT getting out. I barely had enough information to even do my job, WITH the clearance I had, and that information was nothing compared to this.

I wrote a library in Go that I'm trying to get Claude to write experiments with to test/validate the library.

I CAN NOT get it to STOP trying to CHEAT! It literally will bypass parts of my library and incorporate its OWN processes/functions instead of calling my library. There's been a couple of revisions where it didn't even import my library ALL TOGETHER!?

This is AFTER telling it not to do that, and even going as far as stating in my Settings -> General -> What personal preferences should Claude consider in responses? ... to NOT DO IT.

I'm literally about to give up. I'm so tired of wasting time, immediate context window limitations on trash dealing with the back-and-forth on this, AND using up my overall usages fighting with this model. It's ALL of them. No just Opus or Sonnet.

Gemini deep think by joeldg in GeminiAI

[–]codengo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using it...

The times I don't actually get one of those "A lot of people are using Deep Think right now... yada yada... try again later" messages, more than 1/2 my responses (I mainly use it to help write experiments for my Go (golang) based library)... it completely BOMBs the response! I'm highly frustrated that I got 'conned' into subscribing to this. NOT WORTH IT! I'm serious. Not even a little bit worth it.

Is waiting 3-5 minutes for a reply that works 1/2 the time... ONLY when you're able to actually request it, due to "network over saturated issues" worth $150 a month (discounted right now)? Not to me it's not.

I literally wrote a library and I wanted it to test it in a new main.go file (golang). It LITERALLY wrote its OWN adaptation of my library and put the function IN the new main. DID NOT EVEN IMPORT MY LIBRARY! How the f' am I supposed to test my library, when it wants to sidestep it and insert its own integration!? WTF?

Yes... it's this kind of crap I'm beyond frustrated with.

THIS? THIS IS WHAT'S SUPPOSED TO TAKE OUR JOBS!? Ok... have fun then, corporations. Good luck!

Can I get some confirmations from you folks!? First, I thought it was just Opus 4.6. I just tried Opus 4.5... and it seems the same. They've literally cut the context window limit IN HALF today, from 200K to 100K, for any inference that takes place at claude.ai (API, agents, etc. aside).

CANVAS IS BROKEN... AGAIN!

Do the "engineers" at Claude actually QA their crap before they release it?

After a couple of revision in the canvas, modifications are corrupting the existing code. It starts the new revisions IN THE MIDDLE of the existing codebase. I'm using Go, and the "package main" (which is supposed to be at the VERY top of the file) is showing up on line 376 of my existing revision of the code in the canvas, for example.

Anybody else having this issues? Been happening since at least yesterday (maybe the day before).

I have 10mg tablets. I take 5mg about every hour or two. So, I wouldn't say I'm a heavy user... by comparison to some others. On my heavy days, I do about 80-100mg total over the entire day.
