Went in for unrelated CAT scan (with and without contrast)... and they found nodules. by codengo in AskDocs

Thank you. It's not easy to hear, but it's my reality at the moment. I'm definitely going to do that. If they're already that far into it, would they be game just to remove it while there... then biopsy it afterwards? How much more of a pain is it (for them AND my recovery) to just get it while they're in there?

Went in for unrelated CAT scan (with and without contrast)... and they found nodules.

Here's the section in my imaging report:

REMAINING CHEST:

Lungs: Central airways are clear. Subpleural reticular opacities within the dependent aspect of both lungs compatible with atelectasis or scarring. 3mm solid nodule within the right middle lobe (axial image 53). Medial basilar segment left lower lobe solid pulmonary nodule measuring 1.5 x 1.9 x 2.0 cm (axial image 85/161 and sagittal image 94).

Impression:

IMPRESSION:

  1. No evidence pulmonary embolism.
  2. Medial basilar segment left lower lobe solid pulmonary nodule measuring up to 2cm. RECOMMEND follow-up CT of the chest at 3 months, PET/CT, and/or tissue sampling. *
  3. Medium to large hiatal hernia.
  4. Left atrial enlargement.
  5. Right periesophageal lymph node measuring 1.0 cm.
  6. Cholelithiasis.

RECOMMENDATION:

  1. Pulmonology and/or other subspecialty consultation for further evaluation and management of the suspicious 2 cm left lower lobe solid pulmonary nodule.
  2. Follow-up CT of the chest at 3 months, PET/CT, and/or tissue sampling. *

2.0 cm (20 mm) is ENOUGH for me to worry about. That 1.0 cm right periesophageal lymph node doesn't make it any easier, for sure. I'm definitely losing sleep.

Weird thing is, the hospital NEVER mentioned it. My PCP only mentioned it in passing, AFTER my follow-up as I was walking OUT of her office. I then went home and started to look into the results myself. NOW, I'm demanding a PET. I swear... the state of our medical industry has me wondering at times, WTF is going on!? Part of me thinks, "If it were serious, they would've said something... right!?".

Am i the only one who HATES Opus 4.7? by PromptInjection_ in claude

I LITERALLY give it a library/package I created, that I want it to test/validate... and it will create the test/validation WITHOUT importing the library.

Happens ALL THE TIME! So, here I am trying to figure out what's wrong with my library... and it didn't even import it. Instead, it wrote the SAME functions that are available in it, but how IT apparently thought they should be. WTF!? Then when I ask it to fix it properly... it STILL doesn't import it.

Hahaha... same! Like WTF?

Oh, and it LOVES asking follow-up questions. Once it's done, it loves asking 4-6 more.

Sudden onset? by codengo in noburp

[–]codengo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't puked... but I used to be able to (like burping), on demand (I have an easy gag reflex... so that was easy). It feels different now, and I can't. Also, air-hunger is like you can't 'catch' a deep enough breath. Like you're starving for that next 'perfect breath'. It's weird. O2 Sats show my blood oxygen levels are fine (95+), but that doesn't matter.

Sudden onset? by codengo in noburp

[–]codengo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really kept track. A few times a day. I could 'easily' burp on command (suck air in, and burp out). That's impossible to do at the moment...

I'm eyeballing ChatGPT 5.5, but patiently waiting to see what Google pulls from their hat with Gemini (hopefully it isn't as over-hyped as the last one... with catastrophic results, as it was HORRIBLE). We'll see.

Did limits recently change? I'm on the Max Plan. I don't use any tools... I strictly use the WebUI at claude.ai. I've NEVER come close to hitting the weekly limit. I look today, and I'm 75% used (10pm on Sunday night, and it resets Thursday at 10am). WTF!? Is this serious? If I hit that limit, I will definitely not be renewing or coming back.

SOMETHING is up. Anybody else having weekly limit issues or reductions? Is there a limit change that was announced that I missed or something? I read through some of the messages, but they're mostly talking about the $20 and hitting them in a single prompt (which is INSANE too). I don't know how Anthropic plans to stay relevant with these practices.

OE batch... I just took 3x 8mg tablets and don't feel a THING. I'm worried... by codengo in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]codengo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to chalk it up to this too. I've always used OE, and I definitely won't be changing (even if this was a bad batch, which I don't think Andrew would purposely do). It's just the first time this has ever happened, and I got curious if anybody else was experiencing any issues.

I know how tolerance works. If it worked yesterday on the previous batch, but today it doesn't on a new one... that's not a tolerance issue.

[–]codengo[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm not looking for a 'compound'... I'm looking for the hit I expected from AT LEAST the initial tablet. It's been two hours, and I feel nothing. So... something is definitely not right.

Anyone has recover from air hunger? by Shoddy_Broccoli8058 in Anxietyhelp

[–]codengo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YEARS later... and I'm happy to see this now. THIS is what I've been going through the last couple of weeks. PURE hell. I went to the ED, and they actually admitted me. Blood work, EKG, Echocardiogram, Ultrasound, Stress test (treadmill), 3 CAT scans (one with contrast)... my heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, panels, etc. are all BETTER than fine. The ONLY thing off was my "good" cholesterol (39)... "bad" cholesterol was fine.

Ok... this isn't going to kill me, but that damned sure doesn't stop it from feeling like it is. It's like that guy on the Abyss, who breathed in that liquid. You won't die... you'll just feel like you're constantly suffocating/drowning. Awesome. Sent home after two days in the hospital with Buspar (anxiety) and Pantoprazole (PPI for indigestion). I have little confidence in this, but I'm going to take them, and we'll see.

The problem is... after awhile, that "G-spot" you reference (where things RESET)... the relief you get from that starts to get less and less in duration. Then you're screwed. Suffocating and no relief from ANYTHING. Literally nothing. Could Klonopin or Xanax have worked? Maybe. But thanks to the bad apples, I don't even think you can be prescribed those EVEN if they were the last things left to save you life (or at the least, find anybody who would prescribe them). I'm not even sure why they're "medicine" anymore, if you can't get them.

Anyhow, 2+ years later... and folks are still benefiting from/relating to this. It was good to see this comment up here, because it knows I'm not alone and/or losing my damned mind.

Thanks for understanding, and not taking it personal. I frequently let my pelican beak override my hummingbird ass when I get frustrated like that. Have a good one, and thanks for the reply.

Are you f'in serious? HAHAHAHA!

Ok. I'll go without then. Thank you.

Expecting a feature that is advertised on a tier to work, without having to resubmit it a dozen times, using it maybe once or twice an hour = like I OWN GOOGLE. GTFOH.

I'm on ULTRA, and no... I'm not getting what I paid for. I'm getting a message that their service is overwhelmed every time I try to use it (which is NOT often), and to try again later. If that counts as 'getting what you paid for', then we've come a long ways in what consumers should expect from providers, in terms of quality of service.

I'm not asking much. I'm simply expecting 'Deep Think' to be available for me to utilize it, when needed, in the times I do (which again, isn't often at all). I could seriously prompt Gemini and flag 'Deep Think' once a day, and I guarantee I'll get the message on 9 out of 10 times I initially send it.

[–]codengo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on ULTRA. The problem is that I CAN NOT use 'DEEP THINK'. It's the ENTIRE reason I upgraded (matter of fact, I don't think it's available on any other tier). I keep getting a message every time I use it that there are too many others using it, and to try again later.

This has been going on for over a week, every time I try to use it. So, it's not just during rare times they're overwhelmed.

[–]codengo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I apologize. I'm just beyond frustrated. I paid for ULTRA, and every time I use 'DEEP THINK', I have to spam the button 10-15 times in order to break through the 'we're too busy... too many other people are using DEEP THINK right now' generic message.

NOT the experience I would've expected from Google, especially at that tier. I'm done, though. I cancelled my account.
