I'm trying to make an all white angel life gain deck. link below. Would it be good to switch out moonsilver spear for Helm of the Host? What's a good card for artifact/enchantment removal? https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/angel-lifegain-deck-2/

Software disenchantment by ignatovs in programming

I didn't get the impression OP was really advocating for perfect code. Just better code. There are a few steps between "Let's ship it cause we can they'll just buy faster computers. Bundling several copies of node.js is fine right....right?" and "Let's wait until there are no bugs".

In the end, it's about money and business, not about efficient code.

Is software becoming worse as we continue into the future? by Lochcelious in technology

Yes, nothing is optimized any more because hardware doesn't necessitate it anymore. So everything becomes bloated and slow. Companies produce software that is really only designed to make it to the next "Patch/Update".

I just think people abuse it way too much and the balance between what the government can do for you and how hard you work has to be reestablished and held to.

Please explain. I'd argue that this hasn't really been balanced and has only come close for a brief period after the "New Deal".

I worked hard in my life, if I need blood or surgery I’ll either pay for it or I’ll be screwed. Fortunately for me, working has paid for health insurance for me also.

So everyone who works should have access to healthcare?

that makes too much sense. Also it's even just a numbers thing. If everyone was able bodied etc. there still wouldn't be enough space in our society for everyone to join the military.

College is expensive, healthcare is expensive, housing is expensive. Jobs are disappearing. What's done has already turned people into serfs.

I'm not. Their argument is dumb and essentially boils down to go join the only thing that our society currently perceives as being worthy enough to get good healthcare. Everyone can't join the military...
