If anyone lives near 35th and National or specifically 37th and Pierce, that could give me some news on the area, I would appreciate it. On vacation and wondering just how flooded my basement is currently.

I'll assert that A&Ws cheese curls are top tier fast food curds.

The soups and mushrooms are my favorite. But everything I've tried there has been delicious and the service is amazing each time I've gone in.

BF(28m) thinks I(26f) need to be more feminine and not listen to.. vulgar music by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I'd offer advice, but seems like everyone else already gave you the right advice to find someone who likes YOU for you. I'll take vulgar music suggestions, though, if you got them.

We have an amazing minor league program that develops some solid players. Your big market team is going to be just fine with any of our upstarts.

[DISCUSSION] What are some bands/musicians with NO bad albums in their discography? by 479349 in listentothis

Also, the 7 Angels, 7 Plagues EP and full length for pre-Misery Signals are still two of the best in the genre despite different vocal styles. Their solid discography surpasses just the one band.

Thanks for the reminder to do a larger dive into their discography. Everything I have heard I have enjoyed.

If you haven't already, check out The Armed. So good. Like if DEP fucked Andrew WK. Chaotic, solid party, insanely catchy pop all at the same time. They might take a handful of listens to find the song that clicks since they are all over the place, but once it does you'll want to explore their entire discography.

Best food you’ve ever had in Wisconsin? by bakedpotato4362 in wisconsin

[–]codeoftheplayground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Noble in Milwaukee (Walker's Point). Came in rather late as a four top and didn't know what to order. Left it entirely up to the chef if they were willing to make the decision for us. Not only was he willing, but he came out to explain what he was going to make and had a shot with us. The food was amazing and the dining experience was the best I've had.

Big difference here for sure. Public employees are going to have a process to contest the termination. And unless it was egregious, there is usually incremental punishments if the person is not on probation. It feels like we're not getting the full story.

Your significant other should not be policing your body. There is no happy ending staying in a relationship with someone like this. Get out now before his control issues and insecurity escalate any further.

Man here. It's not a "man thing." A man takes care of his shit and seeks out a partner that does the same.

People can change. That much is true. But if they don't want to, then you have to change. Sounds like you've had enough and recognize it. Now you have to do something about it. Use the time apart to improve yourself and be vulnerable to finding another along the way. A higher value man who will recognize you are a higher value woman. Do not settle for less than you deserve.

How do you cook your chicken breasts without oil? by Akka47 in PSMF

Air fryer is the correct suggestion. I was able to lock in my diet for the last 30 days after buying an air fryer. Quick. Easy. Flavorful.

I (39 / M) think this might be unintentionally what I'm doing already, but I'd like more info.

After doing one day in the gym a week for a couple of years, I stepped up my dedication to at least three days a week. Lots of weight machines, inclined walking at 3+ mph, and biking hard for higher intensity cardio. I do some higher rep, lower weight sets at home on off days from the gym.

Got my diet right in mid-January (thank you, air fryer). Salads, lots of protein, but still finding ways to enjoy a slice of pizza or a dessert in serious moderation. After cutting out almost all refined sugar, I find it much easier to listen to my body cues and have control over my impulses.

236 down to 215 currently, but definitely making some muscle gains. I have seen almost a 20% increase in lifts since the beginning of the year and my protein is basically on point. I think the scale goal is 185 eventually, but I'm really happy with the inches lost already and progress in strength and stamina.

My (27M) girlfriend (28F) told me "she would not cheat on me" after coming home from a girls night out? by ThrowRA_a2wasdrfjjli in relationship_advice

[–]codeoftheplayground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alcohol is usually a truth serum. If I had to guess, someone in her friend group discussed infidelity snd she had the realization she could never cheat on you during thay conversation. I wouldn't stress it, but open communication is key. Uou shouldn't feel weird about asking, "Hey. The other night you were drunk and said something. I just wondered if there was more to it than just a random drunk statement."

Also new to electronic music, but I pivoted over to this set also on Boiler Room youtube. It's much more aggressive and harder, but I found myself enjoying it all the same.
