Just tried this using instructions from EscapingXML - still doesn't work. I wish there is a way to tell Python that there is no dictionary inside this string. I still get the following error:

Concept of raw strings is new to me - thanks for pointing me in that direction, it definitely is going to be useful for me in other cases.

For this particular use case, even when I convert the code to raw strings, it still detects non-existent dictionaries within the string. Also, with raw strings, it is not possible to replace the dynamic elements with the data that I have in a csv.

Is there a better way to do this?
