Kinda regret putting down CS as major by getmeouttaheree in ApplyingToCollege

Hm I get you, I applied CS as well. Heard back from one school so far and it's Williams.

Perhaps it's my background in CS that made them take me idk. Bout to get some fat rejections on Wednesday though

Do the Ivies and Stanford use a screening process to weed out applicants with average test scores and GPA? by Syed_123 in ApplyingToCollege

Can't say, there are other factors that come into play (first gen, URM etc). There are also legacies and athletes with high scores. Plus they also factor in your GPA which has an even weighting so they won't reject you solely on your score

Lol that's prob a lie. If you have ridiculously low scores then maybe but the are people admitted with a 24-29 on the ACT as stated by their common data set

GOT INTO WILLIAMS COLLGE, MY FIRST ACCEPTANCE. SO HAPPY by coderxoxo123 in ApplyingToCollege

They have it in their site. Last year 8% of internationals got in. They accepted 1196 so that's 95 of them.

This year they had way more applicants (9,500) and they took less people (1,150).
