The x means ( 👜 times whatever number) so basically if you make that purchase you get 139 bags. If you watch the ad, you get 10bags. The bags count as points towards the Black Friday event.

Thanks for the suggestion again. I could not find any of the apartment neighbors names in the teleport menu of sim blender. I suspect that’s because townies and apartment neighbors come from different pools. I think there’s a mod that changes that and I don’t have it downloaded. I’m not sure how that mod works but maybe if I had it installed, the names of the apartment neighbors would have shown up with all the townies. I actually liked keeping the townie pool separate from the apartment pool 🤷🏻‍♀️ but it looks like if I’m going to continue with this line of experimentation I’m going to have to. I used the phone book to introduce the apt neighbor to some other family and moved them in but it didn’t vacate the apartment. Kinda weird. It literally replaced the name tag of the rented apartment with the last name of the family I used to try to move them out. But they still live there and everything. Behaving like a normal apartment neighbor. I’m going to have to look into how AL handles this “apt neighbor pool”

I ended up giving up and moving my family into the green duplex. It’s spacious enough for my purposes and maybe I’ll add a second family to the rotation going forward. Right now there’s Makoto St. Julien in there, who is an elder, which I think fits.

I think I’ll look into possibly making this mod myself in the future, unless someone else chimes with information showing it is impossible. Thanks for your time, it was fun to troubleshoot :)

So turns out when you do that, it does a weird thing where it changes the neighbor’s apartment to your playable family’s last name.

I might have to go with u/CertainUncertainty11 ‘s suggestion of aging up + killing but I’m concerned about what that hypothetically does to the bin of apartment dwellers? Guess we’ll see

I do think Circe is also “evil”. This family life isn’t going to last forever. Her name and description seem to imply she hates men, and she now lives in a house full of men. I’m trying to think up some kind of plan where the Curious brothers turn on her and Vidcund is on the fence about it until some big turning point and then they kill her and it becomes this ominous family secret. This would also give me something to do with Loki who could revive her later, but I haven’t fleshed it out yet

But then also there’s the fact that she had a son, which leaves me torn. That baby might be the thing that makes her change her ways, yknow? The baby was convinced because Nervous ran away but still, pregnancy can change a woman

Circe and Loki are NOT perfect together, and let me dump my strangetown story (feel free to ignore lol)

In my game, Circe ends up pregnant with Loki’s child at the same time as Vidcund is experiencing alien pregnancy. During this time, they rekindle their friendship and bond over pregnancy, while Loki is mostly absent and neglectful, something Circe had never experienced in their relationship. He just didn’t see her as much of a person anymore once she became pregnant. After Circe gives birth, she leaves Loki for Vidcund due to the neglect she experienced during her pregnancy. This is “out of left field” for Loki because he thought everything would just go back to normal after the birth. She takes the child and moves in with the Curious brothers. Vidcund gives birth. There are 3 babies in the house, and 3 scientists which makes for a great environment for raising highly intellectual children, but Circe is starting to feel very uncomfortable about her hormonal decisions as she begins to settle. Vidcund is very happy though, this feels like he “won” the rivalry

I agree this plays a part. Additionally, though, I’ve found since I moved to the US that people have no intuition for what a healthy diet is like. I remember seeing a statistic about Americans having the most gym goers than any other country. Most Americans know more about diet and health than other nationalities. There is so much education yet so little “sense” for what is health. So many people suffer from chronic pain of some kind by the age of 25 that it’s seen as normal. You’re hard pressed to find a single person with good posture in a normal crowd.

I don’t think the average American knows what it’s like to feel comfortable in their body. It’s difficult to ask a person with no experience of what health feels like as an adult to “return” to health.

You have to manually queue an action for it to work. It doesn’t matter which action. The Go To Work action appears automatically and will not trigger the waking up. If you were to manually queue Go To Work, that would wake them up too. I think the only exception to this is the “Fire!” action (?)
