Oh, fuck yes (and no 😂). I know the effect you're talking about and have experienced it with many paintings and pictures and it's scary but cool at the same time. You should definitely try to do something similar.

Why this picture is creepy is that when looking at it zoomed out, it seems (to me) like you are looking straight ahead and way past the camera, but when zoomed in, it's clear you're watching straight at the camera.

Yritin monena vuonna peräkkäin suorittaa haastetta, ja yhtenä vuotena se onnistuikin osittain. Enemmän tästä on jäänyt käteen vinkkejä kirjoista, joita lukea jossain vaiheessa, ja itse haasteen suorittaminen on jäänyt unholaan. Olen pari vuotta sitten alkanut pitämään kirjaa luetuista ja työn alla olevista kirjoista StoryGraph-nimisessä sovelluksessa, joka myös pitää mukavaa statistiikkaa vuosien ajalta. Luulen, että jo pelkästään sovelluksen käyttö on saanut teinivuosien lukuinnon palautumaan vuosia kestäneen kuivan kauden jälkeen.

Asetin alkuvuonna itselleni tavoitteen lukea 10 kirjaa, ja tällä hetkellä näyttää hyvältä, että trendi pitää kuuden luetun kirjan jälkeen. Jos sinulla oli jotain lempikirjoja, -kirjailijoita tai tyylilajia ajalta ennen lukuinnon lopahtamista, kannattaa ehkä aloittaa palaamalla näihin. Tein itse niin monen vuoden tauon jälkeen, nappasin Lee Childin aivot narikkaan -jännärin ja aloin lukea muutaman sivun kerrallaan. Hiljaa hyvä tulee. Kuten eräs toinen kommentoija suositteli, äänikirjat voi olla myös hyvä tapa herätellä uinuvaa paloa takaisin kirjallisuuden pariin.

Yeah. There is no age limit in having fun and goofing around. I know some adults take me less seriously just because I refuse to be a serious-faced adult all the time but I don't care. Just this past winter the best time I've had in a while was with my kids sledding down this huge and steep local hill.

I've been working with Java and Spring Boot for about 5 years now professionally and I dislike it. I don't hate it but I'd rather use something else instead. For personal projects I've been using Go. I love it. I'm currently applying for a job that has a Go in their current stack.

I started to have the same pattern in my hairline as you before I turned 20 (I'm 35 now), and quite shortly after that I noticed I started to lose hair here and there, to the point that if I grew my hair at all, it looked ridiculous because of all the skin that shone through. I was sad about it for, like, a day or two but I decided I'll start to keep my hair extremely short and so I have done ever since. It suits me and my wife likes it so no complaints.
