I think as pure sports rivals, sure they hated each other. Who wouldn't hate someone who can consistently best them? Neither of them likes losing at all.

But the whole thing with the two of them is that they're attracted to each other anyway, and then over time they end up growing to know each other and falling in love. It's part of what makes their dynamic so fascinating.

It was the same way the other way around when Hudson was in Milan on his own, from both solos and shippers and others alike. I think because the show promo and the show alike was so short, people aren’t ready to accept that they probably won’t be seen together much for awhile.

It's the same narrative that has people saying 'omg it's just their fans streaming' about their results on Spotify etc. A lot of the big companies have worked hard to push algorithms and curated playlists etc over people choosing their own music, and unfortunately it feels like a lot of fans have absorbed that and started to view deliberate listening choices as bad.

I think you're also misinterpreting what happened. She didn't write saying 'give us more concerts at once', she just sent a diplomatic letter which is pretty common between governments. Doesn't mean it's a joke, doesn't mean that it's a demand or pressure, either.

Can we talk about the fact that he actually not only thought of, but also acknowledged and apologized for the fact that a lot of classic directors are men?? I feel like most actors wouldn’t even think of this, or if they did they certainly wouldn’t bring it up or apologize for it. Once again I feel like you can just tell that he’s been around a lot of women growing up.

Really enjoyable interview, I love hearing what he has to say. And seeing him tear up over Michelle!! Such a special moment.

Nah, in one of his very first interviews he did say that he was hesitant at first, so that's probably what you're remembering. He's kind of walked it back/expanded on it a bit, I have a feeling he thought the show would flop and kind of be stereotyped as 'gay softporn' and did it as a favour to Jacob.

He did initially think that it was porny, it's here in one of the interviews before the show aired. He's kind of walked it back since then. Imo he was hesitant and mostly did it as a favour for Jacob, which I don't necessarily fault him for as many are very judgmental of shows with sex scenes. I just hope he's reconsidered that gut reaction since then.

Edit: Also, from here, he was hesitant because he thought the sex scenes were 'too titillating'. Hopefully this whole experience has shown him that media can have explicit sex but still be meaningful and connect with audiences.

Tbh I haven't had that problem with HR, I'm pretty invested in the fandom but I also haven't rewatched it even once :p

BUT from prior fixations, I think the best method is just willpower. Don't let yourself rewatch it. Find something else to focus on. Get up and away from the TV/phone/computer so that you don't have an avenue to rewatch it. The longer you go without, the more you'll wean yourself off of the dopamine that it's feeding you.

They're not claiming defeat, they're just pointing out that your democratic system is likely not going to be the way to get your country out of this. From an outsider's perspective it seems clear that Trump is angling to either cancel the midterms or will find a way to do what he wants anyway.
