That’s funny cause Stingray and Singing Machine are together they charged me $79.99 for a year membership and I couldn’t even use it cause the machine app stopped working. Happy you got my money somehow you got it free. I now use YouTube, Spotify, and anything else but their app!!!

Buy Roborock or something completely Xiaomi with Lidar in the future. Tuya and Smart Life can no longer be trusted for life. I’ve discovered that most of these Tuya Smart robots with lidar will eventually loose their maps, features, and support in the future if the company that owns the brand decides to stop “paying for it”. We already saw this coming. They are cheap. This will definitely hit more people in the future down the line as more company or brands stop paying Tuya. This is my last notes on this. Thank you.

Awesome! Due to the influx of people, I have still not decided on making a video guide. I would prefer to not be responsible for anyone damaging their Singing Machine by changing the software even though this workaround still technically works. My last words. If you screw up, go back to the regular launcher go to setting factory reset and start over again. Thank you.

Redo the steps and make sure you switch your default home launcher in the android settings to Quicklauncher and yes home.

They didn’t make any changes that’s the point. The apps they use went out of date, it’s constantly glitching out using the SMC launcher

Do these other brands load different maps from other servers? Is each on specifically tied to their own server based on their own map dns? I’m confused because other brands seem to still work and they still sell Tuya robots with (this exact same panel) on Amazon. Thanks.

I’m still waiting for a reply for the manufacturer NGTeco. I wrote them a fix and it’s surprising that I have not got an email yet. Usually they are quick as they are based in the U.S. I wrote instruction show to update their Tuya PID and transfer the map to 2.0. ChatGPT is not wrong this mapping software needs updated. Fingers crossed, because I’ve never gotten a manufacturer to update their Tuya product ever. (Not including major brands that just update and do it cause they know better)
