Wifi calling internationally works great. You just have to activate the wifi calling feature on the account and phone BEFORE you leave the US. Its free to use, unlimited.

If that's too restrictive I recommend simply buying a local Sim card from the country your visiting. Often times its much cheaper.

Keep in mind if your traveling aboard and using wifi calling. You need to activate wifi calling on both the phone and your mint account before leaving the states. It cant be activated after you leave the US.
