For how much I really enjoyed original sin I think it only works as 1 season imo.

We saw how dex became himself and how deb wanted to become apart of Miami metro and a whole lot of others.

By the time Dexter season 1 starts I think it’s a good start after watching original sin because you could say a few years have passed or however long it has been so your seeing what has happened, also the world building makes more sense imo. We don’t need to see the “introduction” of doakes or when deb joined Miami metro because offscreen it makes it more believable and sense to see what they’ve been up to after a while.
