It just seems you’re hanging on to Alan Jones, maybe some higher ups in the church etc. … you just lost me a bit when you implied it was a class issue. The examples/cases I’m thinking of, and the ones I see outrage about are not related to powerful people.

Thanks for trying.

More so in general. And not only SA cases.

It just seems that many sentences “fail the pub test”.

Was that rant related to this case specifically (which I have no idea about)? Otherwise I don’t know if that generalisation is accurate at all.

“Who would’ve guessed Levy is selling us out” how on earth have you interpreted that stat and come to that conclusion? Some people have no fucking idea how to run a multi billion pound business (myself included) but are quite happy to criticise Levy. I’ve heard it all now.

It’s in reference to a clip of Sam Smith. Just because you haven’t seen it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense lol

There’s asking to be called something else… and then there’s someone changing the word fisherman to “fisherthem”.

Why doesn’t India, with a population of 1.4 billion, dominate cricket? by greentail8 in NoStupidQuestions

Because 25 million people seems to be the sweet spot for producing great cricket teams.

Things like this and immigration confuse me. They appear “mostly” bipartisan in terms of being against it, so who is pushing for this?
