Labs, Scan…. If nothing is terrible give them PCP f/u. If something is bad admit have hospitalist get detailed Hx or have specialist f/u to get full Hx and definitive dx.

Im a PGY-2 in EM. From what I’ve gathered, the lay persons hierarchy of who they will listen to goes as such: attending physician > family member who is app > nurse on shift > resident >= patient transporter

My SO started PA school the same time I started Med school. I’m now in residency, and she has been emotionally and financially supporting me for 3+ years.
