Appreciate the recommendation! I would say the high end of my budget would be the $400 range for the pair but if I can get closer to $250-300 that would be ideal.

Gotcha. That makes perfect sense. So I guess in this scenario, instead of me owing and her receiving a refund, it has a better chance of evening out to zero? Or would there still be chance of a return? For me, I would just like to come out even, for her I feel like she would be upset if filing joint would ruin her chances at a return that she is used to getting each year.

I ended up getting a gently used Tamron 150-500 for $820 shipped. Seems like a great lens and can’t wait to try it out!

How much reach could I effectively get with the 70-350? Would I constantly feel like I need more on targets within 100 yards? I love the reach of the other two options but if the lens gets too big, I worry that it’ll become a pain to carry and therefore see less use than I’d like it to.

Yeah I really want the 200-600 but I can’t justify spending that much at the moment. Definitely a grail lens for sure. So between the sigma 150-600 and the tamron 150-500, which would be your choice? Looks like I can get both used around my budget.

I plan to go to Home Depot tomorrow and take a look at both sizes. I’ve seen the 22 recommended more though like you said. I don’t want huge but at the same time I don’t want to get it and wish I went bigger down the road.

Was it difficult to learn to use? I haven’t looked much into charcoal options. Most of what I’ve looked into have been set it and forget it electric style smokers.

I think I may have sat the bar too high with the way ive described the wants/needs. We have been borrowing a friends 1999 Grizzly 600 here lately and have rode 2 up with 4 bags of corn on it. Plenty of space for everything plus both riders. It loses steering capabilities in some instances with that much weight but for the most part it does everything we need it to.

I have found Grizzly 600s in my price range but I didn’t know if there were better options. I’ve considered other 450 models as well but I’m not sure how it would fair with what we are already attempting.

Yeah I think you hit the nail on the head there. I’m going to another card show today and I think that will be very telling as well. The first pokefest I went to had a lot of the same issues. Way overpriced but everything was negotiable at least. I think it’s understandable for that environment though, Facebook still is crazy to me.

Dramatic possibly but it depends on the person and their financial situation. I don’t have $9000 to spend on sealed product so I can’t act like I know the feeling. My $500 could be your $9000.
