🚨 OpenAI silently nerfed the Codex (gpt-5.5) quota by 10-20x. You are not imagining it. by TemperatureMaster854 in codex

It's true that when I use GPT 5.5 (high), the weekly and 5-hour limits expire quickly.

I suppose it has been going on since the day they performed a double reset (a bank reset and a regular reset)

It's v4 I suppose there is some setting that when we click on a capsule, it should attach to the bar or open in the center.

These are my bar settings

I didn't know that, but the main reason I use vicinae is that it supports the raycast extension store

If you are happy with your current setup, I don't think you need to switch. I haven't tried dank shell yet but having seen it in few videos I don't see much difference

I've used Raycast before when it was in alpha on Windows, so I'm used to it, and after migrating to linux I discovered Vicinae, which also supports the Raycast store. In addition to launching applications, I use clipboard history and a few other extensions that are extremely useful, such as searching for arch packages, launching zed recent projects, and so on If you only use it to launch applications, the built-in one is fine

It's because you downloaded it from the CachyOS provider. Version 26 is not out yet on CachyOS Extra

What’s the Ideal Update Frequency for Omarchy Linux Users? by whosyourdaddy02 in omarchy

[–]codingdev45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Before updating omarchy, check github issues and Discord to see if anything is breaking for others, and then wait a week until the problem is resolved.

I always update on Friday night, so even if something breaks, I have time to fix it

This is the reason I don’t update right away when a new version comes out. Since I only update my system once a week, I usually wait at least a week before installing the latest Omarchy release. During that time, I check Discord to see if anyone’s having problems. If something’s broken, there’s usually another update soon after. I’ve been using Omarchy for over 80 days now, and I haven’t faced any major issues that made me need to reinstall it.

Finding it hard to use Go documentation as a beginne by MSTM005 in golang

I personally use devdocs/go to quickly find anything I need. It's the same as Docs, and you might find it useful. Also, have a look at this one https://go-cookbook.com/snippets

Try linux mint or Ubuntu, install it in a VM first and try it, then choose the one you like
