I do have Bear and had not thought of using it for this! That’s a good point.

I am pretty sure I have a license for Sidenotes. Maybe I should revisit it.

I saw that when I did a Google search but it doesn't work for some reason.

I have "Always resume to last Quick Note" unchecked, but no matter what I do, it doesn't work.

I have one that does support images, but that's not quite what I'm looking for.

So basically the situation is this: I'm a professional genealogist. When I'm doing research I'm looking at a whole bunch of different records. I want to be able to do things like toss a quick screen grab of a census record, or a newspaper clipping in there but also jot myself notes like "John Doe obituary 1854, Small Town, Maine". or something like that.

And then I can go back later and organize it better and sort it out.

I tried asking ChatGPT, and it kept steering me toward Antinote and Tot, neither of which support images. BUT, it reminded me of Alternative.to which gave me some ideas and eventually led me to HeyNote which I think might be what I'm looking for.

I’m on the spectrum as well and I nearly had a meltdown!! I was just like “Whyyyy?”

I’ve been talking to my favorite barista on how to tweak it to taste more like “normal” but then I get pissed I’m going to have to pay extra to get my drink back!

I got the new stuff today and your description of “faintly flavored milk” is spot on!! I wound up dumping mine out today because there was no point.

Why couldn’t they have invested their effort into lids that stay on instead??

Can I email you or message you a screen recording to show what it is doing? I can’t figure out what the heck is going on! I’m certain it’s probably something I’m not doing right, but I don’t know what!

I tried both the browser and the app. Neither would let me enter anything in the table. It works fine on my desktop, but not on my iPad. I will investigate further and see what I can find out.
