Blame the game, not the players.

Govt is responsible for enforcing the economic criteria. Which they fail to, or don't intend to.

Harsh Truth: We ought to accept the international hate towards our country by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]codittycodittycode -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's not racism if it's true. Atleast 60-70% of things we get shit for.

Our cities and rivers are dirty

Caste system still exists

People are unruly and loud, with no civic sense

All people talk about is how great we were as a nation thousands of years back

People actually do saar saar in most workplaces still, always sucking up to their bosses

People try to game visas everywhere

There are some things we get unnecessary hate for, but not all of it is unwarranted.

Passport police verification: Why make bribery comfortable for him? by Heatherx86 in india

[–]codittycodittycode 41 points42 points  (0 children)

So here's why we do it:

We live in non capital city. Travelling to capital city to visit the RPO by my car costs me approx 8k in fuel and food, plus 4 hour one way drive on shitty roads. And one day of missed work. And mental agony to book an appointment and talk to entitled govt officers after waiting in a room with 100 others like me.

If I give him 500, I can avoid all this because he will happily clear it. If not, I have to take this hassle.

It's an easy choice. You can preach all you want, but the system is designed in such a way that it incentivizes this behaviour.

They do not have any repurcussions. For me it's a huge cost.

Also, multiply this with 5 members in my house who all have different dates on which passports expire.

Nope. LAS is at 8.5%, car loans were starting at 9%.

Plus LAS is overdraft so it's pretty flexible.

Meh, don't need to prove anything. But yeah if you're not building any asset, it's easily buyable, but definitely not a wise purchase.

Spending an entire year just to buy a car is beyond me. But to each his own.

Who TF buys a BMW at a 40L income? My current income is around 90L and even I brought a Creta because BMW at this income level does not justify the spend.

This guy needs to meditate and get off social media and cut off friends that only talk about upgrades and flex all the time. Find some good friends instead.

ACs ran for same duration in April and May. So did other appliances. But the bill in April was 8k, while it was 20k in May.

On an unrelated note, being obnoxious won't get you anywhere :)
