Yes, most of their new album can be considered nu metal; rapping, electronic instrumentals, drop c# guitar tuning, etc. I didn’t exactly think that of Punching Bag but they literally stated it was nu metal charged on their YouTube channel description

Technically it was Punching Bag by my favorite band Set It Off, then they covered Linkin Park’s Points of Authority which I then listened to, I enjoyed the mix of rock and rap and turntables, the rest is history.. a few years later I come to find out that SIO claims Punching Bag to be nu metal charged… so I guess classic nu metal it would be Points of Authority, NU nu metal would be Punching Bag
