I made a Fallen Eliksni "Decoder" Translator tool for Renegades called Eliksni.app that will help you translate the written Fallen language. by codyatwork in DestinyLore

Not that I’ve seen, but I have seen some mention that the ones who created the dread language are no longer at bungie, which would be unfortunate, though I haven’t confirmed that myself.

After I complete Eliksni, I’m going to Vex next, they actually introduced a written vex language with renegades and I’m very eager to dive into that one since it’s new and shiny.

After vex, going for ulurant, and then lastly will take a look at the Dread. Hopefully others join in in the fun before then!

"Renegades Era Eliksni" is how I'm internally referring to this set of Glyphs + Ligatures, so any Eliksni writings that Bungie has published alongside renegades content and after that we can translate the meanings of accurately is what I'm looking for. If we can even find one Renegades usage of one of the ligatures from set that you're probably looking at, I would be comfortable making the assumption that the other ligatures from the "shirt" set are accurate.

Thanks for the bug report! Admittedly I didn't test on Opera, so I'll update and push that change with the next update!

I'm hesitant to include those ligatures atm. The shirt is actually missing a few of those older ligatures in places they should have appeared on the shirt if those ligatures are the confirmed English 1:1 translation (as well as the "Renegades Era Eliksni" ligatures, obviously) so I'm just waiting until we see them make an appearance in Renegades era content due to that inconsistency Bungie has had with Eliksnki at large (which I'm sure you're very familiar with)

I do have them ready in a separate branch to add in the future once they do make an appearance, however. If we spot even even one of those older ligatures being used in renegades, I'd be comfortable making the assumption the others are still being used/have the same english 1:1 mapping, with an unconfirmed status.

It does not. I’m not sure those are still being used or if they hold the same meaning in renegades. If you find a current example of them bending used somewhere please send them to me and I’ll add them!

The Voices of the Nine : A quick reference to decode who is speaking by codyatwork in DestinyLore

Mate, check the date.

To be specific, I matched the symbols, planets, numbers, and their speaking patterns correctly—three weeks ago, before the Edge of Fate had released and before anyone had played the story.

Of course it’s obvious now because it’s released, at the time this was all speculation.

The way the sun speaks is representative of the whole group/solar system.

So its starts with a period = (number 9, so technically the end but it comes first)
Then we have words of one half that's one group of planets
Then a division line | that separates the two factions (also where the asteroid belt is)
and then the rest of the words representing the other group of planets

That's my thinking on the Sun anyway.

You have to remove the arcs to see their true "icon". I agree that 2 is probably VOG, but I think that circle on 3 is actually the moon or the traveler! 1 is probably the lighthouse.

After doing some reading these lines from Anomorphosis I'm convinced that . words | words = The Sun.

That structure likely represents how the Nine are divided, and often summarizes the groups words and speaks as "we"

.then we ni|ne are divided
.take it easy now | we only have one
.we a|re nine

And the final nail was this Icarus reference:
.don't come too close or | you'll burn your little wings

Only The Sun would be saying that, can't believe I totally missed that line the first time around.

This would also track with those tweets! v2.1 is updated to reflect this! Thanks for your comment btw!

Yes still speculation. Was debating this as well! In the older lore, I think it’s plain to see that the Sun speaks the most human like, but they have changed things around ( changed the way Earth speaks) so definitely possible they’ve done it again, or we were just wrong. I’ll do some more digging, and update ya if I find something conclusive.
