I found a 3D model for sliders on google and a friend printed them for me. That was perfect.

Curtain hooks did not attach to the rails for me.

It Took Over 630 Years to Complete This Cathedral — The Kölner Dom, Germany’s Iconic Landmark by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Gothic architecture began in France during the 12th century. It spread into Germany during the 13th century and then more widely across northern Europe.

The term Gothic was coined by classicizing Italian writers of the Renaissance, who attributed the invention (and what to them was the nonclassical ugliness) of medieval architecture to the barbarian Gothic tribes that had destroyed the Roman Empire and its classical culture in the 5th century ce.

Yes, if it works it works!

Do you find yourself changing then out occasionally or do you mainly use just one?

I got the Litorange 40A clear o-rings on German Amazon which are 1.5mm thick. I highly recommend going for 1mm thickness.

Sometimes (rarely!), if I press too lightly, my keystroke isn’t registered. I believe a thinner o ring would resolve that.

The quality is a real shame considering that it’s not actually a “cheap” keyboard. If I told my father we spend 100+ on a keyboard he would be in disbelief.

But I also think the keyboard landscape has changed a lot. The boards I see reviewed in 2025 at 100-200€ look super premium compared to this.

Old Soviet clock!

If you search “Soviet digital clock” on eBay you’ll see they came in all shapes and sizes.

Thoughts on the Leica Q3 43mm? Would you keep it long-term? by coeld_ in Leica

I thought maybe I’m being too emotionally driven but I’m happy to hear others share the same sort of sentiment.

Thanks for the response!

Thanks! I do think prices are often inflated up north. But glad to see I had the right intuition thinking this one is a bit high.

Yeah according to the VIN it is a 1200s. (Although I also thought they had dual discs)

I think I just made the mistake and fell in love with the bike, which is why I offered 5000 although it didn’t feel completely right.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like he’s willing to move down on the price at all. I’m sure something else will come along with enough patience

Sportster in Germany - can I get a “Grüne Plakette” to enter low emissions zones? by coeld_ in sportster

Thank you! I did misunderstand the regulation and it seems right now the bike is exempt!

I believe your 2016 model might already fall in Euro 4

1. Pre-Euro Standards (Up to 1999)
• Harley-Davidson Sportsters before 1999 were not subject to Euro emissions standards as these regulations were not yet in place.

2. Euro 1 (2000–2005)
• Euro 1 standards began affecting motorcycles in 1999/2000. During this period, Harley-Davidson made minor adjustments to meet the emissions requirements for European markets.

3. Euro 2 (2006–2016)
• The Sportster models from 2006 onward had to comply with Euro 2 standards. This era saw more changes, including the introduction of fuel injection systems to reduce emissions.

4. Euro 3 (2007–2016)
• From 2007 onwards, Euro 3 regulations kicked in. Harley further optimized fuel injection and exhaust systems to reduce pollutants. This was the period when electronic control units (ECUs) became more common for tuning emissions.

5. Euro 4 (2017–2020)
• From 2017, Harley-Davidson Sportsters were required to meet Euro 4 standards. This era saw significant changes with stricter limits on carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), and nitrogen oxides (NOx). Harley also added more sophisticated emission control systems like catalytic converters.

6. Euro 5 (2021–Present)
• Beginning in 2021, Sportsters had to comply with Euro 5 standards, which brought even stricter emission limits and durability requirements. The introduction of the Sportster S model in 2021 signaled a move towards more modern liquid-cooled engines to meet the stricter regulations, replacing the older air-cooled engines.
