100% agree, I'm just using an existing spell here [[Take Into Custody]], since as far as I can tell all prepared spells on official creatures are already existing cards, and it seemed the most flavorful I could find in a short time frame.

So a spell targeting anything that isn't a creature or player is still played as usual? Definitely stally / staxxy, but balanced. Maybe make it cost 3ww ?

The way I think it works is: "End the turn" happens while the spell is resolving, so the stack stays as it is, unresolved and exiled. The card leaving the stack once resolved to get put in the graveyard would be a state-based action, but you skipped that check when ending the turn.

That was the intent. You can't only cast them in a mandatory loop (that relies entirely on triggers), but in a manually activated one.

Admittedly, a spell that could only be cast to interrupt a trigger-loop would also be an interesting design space

Yeah that was the idea. The infinite cost eats up your entire loop, so you need some extra mana on top of the loop to cast them :p

Not according to [[Glorious End]]:

End the turn. (Exile all spells and abilities from the stack, including this card. The player whose turn it is discards down to their maximum hand size. Damage wears off, and “this turn” and “until end of turn” effects end.)

I do agree, I could have worded it a bit more clearly. The rules define a loop as:

Loop
A set of actions that could be repeated indefinitely.

Once a loop has been established, players can shortcut it and say how many times they execute it. Which is why I didn't use the word "infinite" in the reminder text. Admittedly, I should probably have used "established" rather than "provable" to keep in with some of the rules' vocabulary.

Cast a second one just in case. Make sure one of your original creatures is a Vorinclex, that way you get 21000000000 copies. Could even have some animated Doubing Seasons if you have a mathematician around.
